A Princess’s Worst Nightmare

Kal stood some feet away, his eyes on Allen, trying to reign in the violent thoughts that erupted as he watched him touch Hurai. It was obvious to him and everyone there that Allen cared for Hurai and not in the way a Knight cared for their master.

He continued to stand there silently when he suddenly heard Fera speak to him.

“It's good and surprising to see you here Prince Kal. Thank you for saving my sister,” Fera said while wondering why Kal was also in the forest. She was glad that Hurai was now safe, but also not glad that it had been Kal, the one she was engaged to who had done the saving.

It wasn't like she cared for him, but since he was engaged to her, she saw him more as hers than someone belonging to her sister.

“I was passing by when I heard the commotion,” Kal responded, seeing from Hurai’s distant behavior that she absolutely wanted nothing to do with him.

“Really…cause a while ago I actually saw someone having a light picnic with my sister by a small pond,” Fera mentione
