The Promise

Darun walked as quickly as he could in the direction of his quarters, wanting nothing more than to be alone, before he had to go and watch his sister's train.

While he walked he was slightly distracted, more focused on his thoughts that he was unaware of when someone suddenly grabbed his hands and pulled him to the side and into a narrow corridor that was completely different from where he was headed.

“What the…” Darun swore, shocked that someone would treat him in such a way but that was until his eyes landed on Geran’s face pulling Darun’s body close to his chest.

Instantly Darun reacted with a pissed-off look on his face, as he struggled to separate himself from the crazy vampire standing in front of him.
