Chapter Nine

I wanted him to tell me everything about vampires whether its true what they said in the movies. So I asked him, "Why can you walk in the sun, eat human food instead of drinking blood and can you change into a bat?"

He laughed first then said with amusement, "My love you should never believe some of the things you see in the movies."

"We vampires are just the same as humans but the difference is that we have immortality, inhuman strength and powers."

"We drink blood from blood donors because it has more nutrients to keep up with our powerful bodies but food also helps."

"We also don't have the power of shape shifting so unlike you I can't turn into a bat."

I nodded like a little kid learning something new then I asked him to show me his fangs. He first hesitated afraid he might just scare me then flashed me his fangs. They looked very pointy and sharp bringing out the predatory side to him and I liked it.
