"I was adopted." I whispered softly, still paranoid at taking the chance of telling him out loud. Milo's eyes widened a little and he looked at me thoughtfully, staying quiet for a few minutes before he crawled over and hugged me.

"How come the others don't know about it? I mean... you probably couldn't have been king if they did know though," he whispered quietly to me, sitting in my lap as he looked at me with a slight frown. "Is that why Silas acts so mean to you?"
