Unlike earlier, I was once again sitting in the front seat. We were quiet this time. Eliyah was busy on his phone, while Brix kept his eyes on the road.

I suddenly thought about what’s going to happen tomorrow.

“Wear a condom,” I whispered.

“Prohibited.” I turned to him, surprised by his answer and how casually he said it. “It’s a sacred ritual, Astra. Using protection is like faking it. We can’t fake it. That’s abomination.”
