"You shouldn't do that Edward, put the stake down" Rodrigo said trying to talk sense into Edward.

"So what now, you've finally decided to graduate from hitting your mate to killing vampires? And it seems you have decided to start with me. That's actually okay, I've been looking for a valid reason to kill you anyways. Bring it on" Alaric dared.

Edward chuckled sadly and looked at Alaric, " Why would you think I would want to hurt you or Rodrigo, especially after knowing a little boy in there depends on you ? For the past sixty years , I've said it so many times that I'm a changed person. I've tried to let you see me for the good person that I am but you chose only to see the past me" Edward smiled sadly and looked to the floor.

" I know I've been a terrible person in the past but at least everyone deserves a second chance, since I can't get that chance, it's better for me to end myself ", Edward continued.
