Chapter 2

I noticed the guys looking at us and JC asked ‘can we join y'all? I’ll drive’ the girls looked at me for approval. I answered with a smirk ‘we can meet up at the mall I have my car unless you got room for us in your car’ He smirks back ‘we'll I do have an SUV fits everyone in there and you can even be my copilot I can have someone from the pack drop your car off at the pack house.’ he says I turn to the girls ‘y'all down then?’ they nodded ‘okay we’re down’ I say smiling  ‘alr’ he says. Once class ended I had texted my mom about going to the mall with my friends she had told me her and my stepdad had gotten home so they will pick up my little brother from the sitter's house. Before we all went to our last class I asked JC where we should meet up and he said ‘the parking lot that’s near the English class but let me get your car keys someone will drop it off at the pack house so you don’t have to worry about leaving it here’ I handed him my car keys and then I headed to PE with Brian. We both had the same PE class. We were talking about what other classes we had, which was cooking apart from P.E. We went into the locker rooms one for boys and one for girls we changed into our P.E uniforms and headed to the field because everyone choose to play capture the flag for this class. When we got to the field coach Smith choose two students to be the captain to 2 teams Brian was chosen and another boy was chosen as well his name is Michael he was a douche to everyone at school, they both each had 8 people on their teams I was on Brian's team. Brian choose me and 2 other players to attack the other team to get the flag and 3 stayed to guard and defend our flags and 1 player who was Jackson he was the fastest runner in our class we put him in charge of helping our players escape jail when they get tagged. Once coach blew the whistle we went into our positions and the game started. I ran towards the flags of the opposing team dodging the other teams in attempting to tag me. I grabbed the flag when I saw Brian distracting one of the players we both ran back we had 1 flag so far, it was my turn to distract while Brian and the other player get the other 2 flags when I saw Michael heading towards me to tag me out i ran back to my side since its considered our safe zone from getting tagged but he was still on me I basically was running away from him but i bumped into one of my players and the 3 of us fell. Coach paused the game because he was watching the whole thing. 'Vasquez, Lopez are you both ladies alright? he asked Brian helped me up and another boy from our team helped Lopez up we both nodded at him ' Rivas what is wrong with you? why were you chasing Vasquez?' he yelled ' it just a game coach take it easy its not like they're both hurt' he said Brian and I looked at each other like if he was speaking another language. 'it better not happen or I'll send you to the deans office' said coach Smith Michael put his hands up and walked back to his side of the field. Coach blew his whistle to resume the game. 'hey Lopez sorry I ran into you I was trying to get away from Michael I didn't realize you were in front of me' I said 'it's okay but something is wrong with Michael like you can tell something is up with him he didn't stop until he basically tackled you to the ground I'd be careful around him if I were you' she says tying her hair up again. 'he did act weird huh?' I asked I walked back to the field we resume our game the next part of the game went smoothly we won the first 2 rounds we were on our third round the coach blew the whistle and round 3 started I ran along with Brian to get one of the flags when I saw Michael heading towards me this time full speed again I told Brian to cover for me Michael was running behind me he saw the rage in his eyes 'Kat he looks mad give me the flag try to run to coach I started running towards coach Smith but I couldn't find him I asked the TA in our class said he went to the restroom 'great looks like I have to defend myself' I said. I didn't want to fight but this boy wasn't stopping I ran towards him we were both in the middle of the field he tried to tackle me to the ground but I slid underneath him he fell on the ground and we both got up and I tackled him the ground, I was on top of him 'you better stay on the ground if you know what's good for you I didn't do shit to you Michael' I got up and walked back to my team he got up and I heard Lopez yell out ' WATCH OUT' he ran towards me and I wrapped my legs on his neck and brought him down something I learned back in New York. everyone crowded around us and I hear coach yelling' WHATS GOING ON- KATHERINE GET OFF OF HIM' I unwrapped my legs and got up 'I want to know what happened Katherine why did you have him in a choke hold with your legs? he asked 'I was looking for you he was chasing me for 10 minutes again so i had to defend myself he tackled me to the ground twice. I said he looks at Michael 'YOU TO THE DEANS NOW CLASS IS DISMISSED EVERYONE GO TO THE LOCKER ROOMS AND CHANGE' 'Katherine and Michael after you both finished changing you are both going to the deans with me' coach said we both nod to him. After I had changed both coach and Michael waited for me in the deans office 'Okay now that you are all here Mr. Smith you can start' said Dean Martin 'Well Michael here tackled Katherine to the ground twice now after I had spoken to him he didn't listen and it got to the point where Katherine had to defend her self from him.' Coach Smith said 'well Michael do you have anything to say? why did you go after Katherine?' said the Dean we all looked at him waiting to answer 'no I don't have nothing to say and I'm not apologizing' he said 'okay well Katherine you are good to go Mr. smith I will call both parents about the situation and we will have him suspended for a week' I walked out of the office and headed to the hangout spot while I waited for my friends to finish their class. Brian walked up to where I was 'so how was the meeting with the dean?' he asked ' He didn't explain why he kept going after me coach explained what happened I didn't get in trouble but he was going to call my parents about what happened.' I said 'that's weird how he didn't stop I wonder what was going on in his head' Brian said I shrugged. The bell rang and I saw both Jackie and Fanny heading towards us we all walked to the parking lot and saw JC pulling up in his SUV we all got in and headed to the mall.
