From a Manson in New York City. ‘you better hope we are able to get her back because not only was she able to be free and escape with your wife but she killed 20 of my best men.’ he says ‘you let me worry about that I know how to get my daughter to obey with just a single sentence’ an older man says. ‘Best believe it works because she wasn’t supposed to escape that easily from here or even find out about the plan because of that I need to figure out the mole in my own pack’ he says ‘Relax I’ve got that covered I have my men going after him as we speak’ the older man says

5 years later. Today it’s a late start at school I barely slept last night. The nightmares I have been having has been the same dream for the last 5 years since it was still early I got up and made breakfast for Jake my 3 year old brother since he's not in school yet he goes and stays at his babysitter's house which was one block away 'morning Papacito' I said 'morning kata' he says walking into the kitchen. Since he doesn't know how to say Katherine he settled with Kata. it was just him and I at home my mom and stepdad headed out early morning for a pack meeting. since I'm still underage I can't be involved at pack meetings until I'm 21. I got Jake dressed and packed his backpack with extra clothes, toys and food for his day with the babysitter while I was finishing up my friend Fanny texted me she was on her way to my house she lives 2 blocks away from me and we always carpool to school. I texted her back 'kk the key is under the mat I'm going to shower right now if I don't answer the door Jake is in the kitchen eating you can help yourself with food ' she responded back quick 'bitch I'm already inside hurry up I need a shower too' I roll my eyes with a smile I took a quick 10 minute shower when I finished both Jake and Fanny were on the couch watching cartoons. 'the bathroom is all yours' I said 'about time pink panther is coming up next in 30 mins' she says running towards the bathroom. Once it was 8am I walked Jake over to the sitter's house. I knock on the door and a young girl walks out about my age 'Hey Katherine come in' she says ' Hey Fatima' I said walking into her house 'my mom is in the bathroom but you can sit him on the couch' she says I kissed Jake's forehead 'be good alright I'll pick you up after school okay' I said 'okay Kata bye' he says. I walk back home and I see my best friend Jackie outside my house 'girl I thought you were home I knocked like 3 times and no one answered.' she says 'sorry I forgot my phone I just went to drop off Jake at the sitter's house fanny was still showering when I left I thought she would've been done by now' I said. I opened the door and fanny was still in the shower singing her lungs out Jackie and I look at each other and laugh. ‘You know it's a good thing the three of us live close because on late starts I can drive you guys to school with me’ I say, ‘true and I promise to pay you your gas ’ Jackie says ‘it’s okay as long you buy me lunch’ I say laughing. As we were heading to school we would get there a few minutes before but there was traffic so I was getting frustrated because there are people that really don’t know how to drive. As soon as I parked my car in the school parking lot the first bell rang. 'gotta run my class is literally in the entrance of the school but I’ll see you both at brunch’ said Fanny. ' yeah I gotta run too I have P.E I'll see you both at brunch time' said Jackie. I have math which was by the parking lot. As I was walking to my class I was basically on my phone because my math teacher always opens the door after the 2nd bell. She's always late all the time so I took my sweet time walking there. while walking I bumped into some guy making me drop my phone ‘Oh my god I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was going’ I say apologizing to the guy in front of me. ‘No worries… oh I see why you weren't paying attention you busy texting someone back huh? ’, he says as he picks up my phone from the ground. ‘ I was not texting anyone, just saw a post’ I say. ‘right my bad’ he chuckles ‘here you go um?’ he asks ‘Katherine and you are…?’ I ask ‘Juan Carlos, everyone calls me JC’ he says. Then it hit me JC is the most popular guy at school and the Alpha’s son. His black hair was gelled back, his Medium Hazel eyes landed on me and my world paused. He was wearing a leather jacket which hid very little of how muscular he was. shaking off the initial reaction, 'Got it anyways I've got to get to class before I'm late and I think you should too since the 2nd bell rang already’ I say ‘well the teacher arrives late so I’ll take my chances of being late’ he says smirking ‘oh really what class do you have?’ I asked. ‘I have Ms. Jackson, she's my math teacher.' He says ‘ooh you’re in the same class as me then. Damn I didn’t notice you and we’ve been in this class for like a year right?’ I ask. ‘Basically but hey at least you know I have class with you now.’ He says ‘right well, we should get going then or else the popular kids find out you're talking to a non popular girl’ I say sarcastically. He laughed, as we got to class I realized how many other popular kids are in the same class, which was awkward to see because we were both talking while walking to class and almost all of them basically gave me the side eye when they saw me. We waited 15 mins outside and the teacher didn’t show up so everyone ended up just ditching or going to the library I ended up going to the store across the street to get snacks and then walked back to school to chill at the library since I had a whole hour and a half to do nothing so I blasted my music on my Air pods while I did some homework I needed to catch up on. I did get a feeling that I was being watched so I carefully started looking around until I spotted JC sitting in the computers section with 2 girls and his beta Brian Cortez, just him looking at me I felt weird since I just met him I ended up just finishing whatever homework I was working on and packed up my things and left. I ended up going to Jackie's class since it was going to be brunch next so I was waiting for her outside the locker room to walk to our spot. Once the bell rang Jackie was surprised I was waiting for her outside her class ‘hey girl did you ditch or what?’ she asks ‘nah the teacher didn’t even show up I brought some snacks here are some hot Cheetos and a soda’ I say handing her the snacks, as we were getting to our spot I was telling her about JC which I found out from her that we have him in our English, history and cooking class. She was being sarcastic with me because I was talking to a popular guy. I didn't find it amusing because they're just like us but they have a higher ranking from us since we’re wolves. I told her ‘it's not like we’ll talk a lot. I just bumped into him by accident since my dumb ass was looking at a post, ’ I said while we were waiting for fanny to get to the spot we sat and ate our snacks. Once we all gossip it was then time for our next class which was English and history, Fanny and Jackie had together so we just walked to class that's when I saw JC and his friends were also in our class that's when I started to feel nervous for some reason when Fanny said ‘oh shit’ because we had to change our seating I got stuck with 4 guys, Juan Cortez, Vidal, JC and his Beta Brian Cortez. The seating was annoying because I was the only girl at the table. That's when JC waved hi to me and I said hi back awkwardly. In that class we had a substitute teacher so all we did was watch a movie. I was on my phone since our sub teacher literally fell asleep during class. Everyone was basically on their phone, sleeping or whispering during class. Once class was over, I packed up my things to head to English. While I was walking with Fanny and Jackie we were talking about what we were going to do after school. In this class we sat wherever we wanted to so the girls and I sat next to each other at the back of the class and the guys in front of us. We only had a week left until the school year was over so we had free time while the girls and I were finishing up gossiping about what to do later since we were going to hangout after school we all agreed to go to the mall to look for dresses to wear over the weekend the Alpha and Luna of Moonville invited the whole pack for the annual Ball that they host every year.
