Chambers of grief

"Take her away!" Alpha Jerri blurted out.

"Please, no!" I begged, my heart racing with fear.

But the Lycan King simply laughed, relishing in my fear. "Oh, don't worry, little pup. It's not like I'm going to do anything to you… just yet." He grinned, his eyes flickering with cruel amusement.

I felt bile rise in my throat at his words, the revulsion and terror almost too much to bear. But I knew that I had to keep my wits about me, even in the face of such unspeakable cruelty.

I stood there, paralyzed with fear, as the guards roughly grabbed me by the arms and pulled me towards the door. With a shaky nod, I let them lead me away, my mind racing with fear and disgust. I couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding. I knew that I was in grave danger, that the Lycan King was not to be trifled with.

I stumbled along with them, my legs feeling like jelly beneath me. The Lycan King's words resounded in my head, his threats making my stomach churn with dread.
