Chapter 3 The Hibernation Is Over

(Doris' POV)

"S-sister…" Philly winced, as he forced himself to look up when he wrapped his arms around me. "Sister, you are here." He stuttered, tears dripping down his cheeks when he started crying loudly while gripping onto me tightly. "I missed you so much, sister. I missed you so much."

I caressed his hair as I nodded. "I missed you too. I missed you a lot, Philly."

"Sister…" he moaned as he continued to cry louder while I patted him. After a few minutes, he finally paused, crying, and glanced at me intently. "It was such a hard year without you." He gulped, snorting.

"Don't worry, don't cry. Sister is here, sister is here. I'll take care of you, and pay back those bastards for what they did to you."

He nodded, hugging me by my waist while I smiled and looked at him worriedly.

Being my brother, the War Goddess' brother, he had always acted strong and brave but he was just a child and under the wings of our protection. He is a sensitive child with a fragile mind. Who knows what he faced during these months when there was no one able to take care of her? I wondered while worry etched on my face when Philly stabled himself, without making a noise.

"Philly?" I called him out but he didn't reply back. I sighed and hurried to check up on him as I found him in a coma. I smiled as I checked that he was doing okay and dropped him carefully on the bed when I heard footsteps nearing us.

I turned toward the door when the doctor entered and scanned me up and down when I rolled my eyes.

"Aren't you the Luna of the Red Moon Pack?" He snorted, glaring at me with a smug face. As I behaved uninterested, he clenched his teeth, "What are you doing here? How dare you disobey Alpha Liddell and come here? Do you know your place?"

I stepped forward with a smile on my face. "I do know my place, but there's someone before me who doesn't."

His gaze hardened while he rushed toward me as he was about to slap me but I dodged and kicked him on his stomach. "This is for my brother. Aren't you the one who forcefully drew blood from him?"

He glanced at me with disbelief, his mouth gaped while he trembled. "Y-you… How did you become so powerful? Aren't you just a lowly Omega?"

I scoffed, tilting my head as the doctor crawled backward until he was cornered by the wall. "W-warriors! Come! Someone come! There's someone who broke into the ward!"

I laughed when tens of warriors rushed in and glared at us in disbelief. Whispers followed as they were surprised to see me there and didn't know what to do with me. I glared at them furiously and before they could make a sense of the situation, I disposed of them and turned toward Philly.

"Are you okay?" I mumbled, my face etching with worry when Mark and Erbort shared a glance in disbelief with each other and smiled.

Mark whistled, playing mischievously when I turned toward him and laughed. But he stopped smirking when Erbort's glare hovered over him. I shook my head and patted my head, before turning toward them when Erbort patted on my shoulders.

"Take it easy."

Mark interrupted, looking at us, "Let them take it easy. After all, the Goddess of War had finally come back after two year of hibernation, and I bet that they can't wait anymore."

I smirked and patted their backs, pleased by Mark's words. I'll take it easy, definitely easy.

"Let's leave now," I said when they nodded together and we were about to hurry out of the room when Alpha Liddell rushed in, scanning at the massacre, and growled in anger.

We remained still when his gaze met mine and he rushed toward me, ready to choke me. "How dare you come here? Is this mess done by you?" He growled when I gazed back at him intently and knocked him to the ground.

"Y-you…" Liddell muttered in disbelief, his eyes widened as he was boiling with anger. "How can a lowly Omega like you defeat me? Attack her, and show her place clearly!" He ordered, gritting his teeth.

I sighed, signing the two of them to take care of it, while I put Philly in my arms, making sure that he was okay and not getting more injured before I planted a kiss on his forehead.

Mark and Erbort finished their job neatly and soon they looked at the shivering Alpha and then looked back at me.

Liddell's power level is classified as Blood Wolf, while I belong to the Moon Wolf level, and my wolf is the strongest within the Moon Wolf level! Before I was harmed by my companions, my wolf had its abilities weakened by the Moon Goddess as a price for saving the handsome young man who risked his life for me!

Otherwise, ordinary wolfsbane would never be able to harm me!

The power levels of werewolves rank from highest to lowest as Moon Wolf, Blood Wolf, Death Wolf, and Liddell's pack warriors are mostly at the lowest level, so of course, they couldn't stand against Mark and Erbort, who are also Moon Wolves!

"Should we kill him right away, or...?" they asked as I smiled, my gaze lingering on him.

"D-Doris, what... what level is your wolf?!" Liddell trembled as he looked at me. He must have never expected that at the Blood Wolf level, he could be defeated so easily.

But I didn't have time to explain to him. I needed to take my little brother to get medical help immediately!

I nodded to Mark and Erbort. Liddell immediately panicked and tried to plead with me. I looked sarcastically at the supposed powerful Alpha, recalling that when I accidentally burned a small piece of bacon, he threw his knife and fork at my face, finding amusement in my pain.

I kicked him away, and Mark and Erbort seized him! But he still didn't give up trying to bribe Mark and Erbort:

"You are mercenaries, right? I know you're mercenaries, and you're just doing it for money." He said, concluding to himself while he rushed to offer, "Look, I'm the Alpha of Red Moon Pack and I've more money than her. If you work for me as my escort and kill that woman for me, I'll offer you both a million dollars a year."

Mark and Erbort laughed loudly, tears gleaming out of their eyes. "Are you offering us to get rid of just some bums?"

I laughed, putting my hands on my waist when the two of them neared Liddell as he shivered in fear.

The look on his face, etched with worry, fear, nervousness, and not knowing what to do excited me. I liked looking at how he was feeling useless as if he was paying back for what he had done before. I laughed, playing with my hair when he turned toward me and begged, "D-don't kill me, please. Don't kill me, Doris."
