Shutting the bedroom door, I stood outside for a minute to calm my crazy heartbeat. It’s funny how the mate bond can make you act. We were in the middle of a crisis, attacked by the Vampires, Aurelia was almost abducted by Derek, lots of my people were killed, brutally, we just got to know that Sabine has wolfsbane running in her blood, Jacob almost died. Cold wind greeted my face as I ran in the white forest. It was freezing but I was only dressed in a white long frock, my hair hung loose over my shoulders. I wasn’t cold though, I was all warmed up.
