8. LUNA MEETS MOM ( ZURI)

Well the days passed by, Luna and Tala spoke on the phone and text daily. A werewolf and a witch didn't seem like such a big deal anymore. It was finally Sunday the big day. 

Tala came into the kitchen and pored a cup of coffee Zuri was also in the kitchen having her morning coffee. " So mama watch making tonight? " said Tala as she sat down at the table with her mom. " Tala are you sure about this? I feel so uncomfortable. I have worked my whole life to keep my distance from werewolves." said Zuri.

" Yes mom I am crazy about her. She is so amazing I know you will hit it off. i promise you she is not dangerous." said Tala. " But really Tala how would you know? Maybe she is decieving you." "Mom you will love her I swear!! Now I will go ioen up the shop you go et what7ever shopping you need to get done for tonight."said Tala. " Ok I will giver her a shot."

6 pm rolled around pretty quickly. Dinner is almost ready. Zuri made her famous lasagna , Italian loaf bread and vinagerette salad with a delicate creme brulee for dessert. Even fresh flowers on the table. 

Luna knocked on the door. " Hi said Tala welcoming her with a kiss she just couldn't wait! Mom this is Luna! " " High Luna its so nice to meet you. I have heard so much about you." said Zuri " you can call me Zuri, please come take a seat. I hope you're hungry. " " Oh wow yes I am starving! This all looks and smells so amazing. I ave never had anyone cook like this for me! " said Luna with excitement in her voice. Dinner was going smoothly. Zuri pulled out a bottle of red wine. The three of them sat there eating talking and drinking. Just having a blast. 

So seeing this Zuri thinks to herself why not do a tarot reading. She if Luna is a threat or not. " So Luna you know we are witches so why dont you let7 me do a tarot read on you? I will be fun." Mom! no! " Tala said knowing exactly what her mom was up to. " It ok Tala, it sounds fun! I would love to do one." Zuri got excited and ran to get her deck. Immediatly started shuffling them before she could even sit down. Ok pick 5 cards dont look at the, face down." Zuri said. So Luna did exactly as she asked. Zuri flipped the cards one at a time.  A look f fear washed over her face! This was not good. definatly not wat she wanted the cards to reveal. " What is it '' said Luna ''this is supposed to be fun.
