Chapter 20

Cataleya’s POV-

Starting the school year with Dean made it feel like old times. When we would go school together and laugh about the teachers and the crazy drama that revolves around every high school. I’m glad that we have this good relationship, even though I do still hate him sometimes, and I hope that one day my kids will have the same. Wait, kids? I’ve never thought about having kids before! What is going on with my head? Ok time to focus on school.

Dean and I were talking about our classes when I noticed someone walking up behind him. He looks familiar, then I realize he’s walking towards us. It’s Alec, the almost Alpha wolf. If he’s here, then… oh my God is Kade here too? I look around to see if anyone else is around when he starts talking to Dean. Would I feel it if he was close, like how I felt eyes on me when we were playing pool? Is that what the mate bond does?

I was able to look it up a little bit this last week, but we don’t really have that much information about it.
