Sera did not expect to go this way to the board. On the first day, because she had gotten into a fight.

And now the three of them were in Principal Cordélia Dawood’s office, and the 70-year-old’s blue eyes expressed no happiness.

And of course, Sera didn’t like it at all. She looked at Karim and the blond boy and they didn’t seem to care at all, as if they had already been through this situation several times.

The director took a long breath and the fringe of her short hair covered her eyes for a moment.

"Mr Ramesses and Mr Rie, I think you gentlemen think my office is a tourist spot to visit so many times."

The boys looked down, ashamed.

"And you, Miss Abrams. Even if I was defending a friend, pushing Lord Ramesses to the ground is not something I can leave unpunished."

Sera looked away embarrassed, she did not know how it had happened. Only that he was on the floor, seconds later.

"Detention of two days for Miss Abrams and Mr Ramesses and two weeks for Mr Rie."

"What? But..." - Rie asked.

"Quiet, before I turn it up to three weeks. Now, you may leave my office. Except you, Miss Abrams."

Sera swallowed hard upon hearing that she would be the only one to stay. She felt herself again in the chair and waited for her punishment.

However, nothing came from you but a gentle smile.

"I’m glad you’ve become someone who protects your friends, Sera. Unfortunately, I can’t not send you to detention with them."

Sera smiled and wrote:" Thank you, ma'am."

Cordelia looked at her with an expression that the young woman could not define, concern? Pity? There was no way to know.

"Prepare yourself, tomorrow will be the day each new student will present your wolf."

Sera felt her hands tremble as she heard this. But she said nothing. I did not want to abuse this hospitality.

"Do not worry, dear. - the woman put her hand on her shoulder and smiled. " You are safe here." - said, taking the form from her hand.

On leaving, Kyria was waiting for her. The day had passed quickly and they should rest.

Sera noticed that he looked at her, irritated. It was not for nothing, because a little girl knocked him down. But what she didn’t know is that something inside her kept him from fighting back, fearing to hurt her.

Sera tried to apologize, saying she didn’t mean to, but Karim simply turned to get out of there, avoiding looking into those kind, kind eyes.

------

"Are you anxious?" - asked the redhead when they entered the room they would share.

Sera was happy to have someone to share the room with. Kyria’s old roommate had moved in, so she was left without a roommate.

"Make yourself at home."

Sera put her few things on the bed of white sheets and sat down. The room was ordinary, with large windows and mustard-colored curtains, the whole place was blue and mustard, like the colors of the college.

Sera didn’t care much about it, as long as she could rest. And she lay down, without worrying about eating anything.

-------

It was cold and windy. He dragged her hard by the arm.

"Where is mom?" - the 6-year-old cried.

"Your mother can’t help you now, not after the sleeping pill I gave her. Don’t you think you’re too much of a whiny child? Wanting your mother to always protect you? Weak child. Look what your barren mother gave me. An inferior child and a woman who cries for everything."

The girl tried to let go, but the bearded man was tall and strong, she was no match for him.

He continued to pull until they reached a small hut where the eagerness of the pack lived. A lady with dark skin and long white hair trapped in braids.

She bowed before him.

"How can I be useful to the alpha of the pack?"

"I need you to remove that girl’s wolf."

The woman looked at him, surprised. Without believing what she heard.

"I’m sorry, sir. But maybe I didn’t hear you right."

"Remove this girl’s wolf, if not her family is next."

And with sadness in her eyes, the elder did. Sera was placed in a circle with drawing of all phases, the moon and the statue of the Mother in a long dress with wolves beside her, the front of the drawing.

Sera was placed there and the elder began the process. As she spoke, the girl felt her body twitch. She screamed and screamed, her veins burned and her body and bones hurt. Her body folded U-shaped and the girl felt something being removed inside her, as if it were a piece of the soul.

"Stop!. Stop! Mom, help me... Mom..." - she screamed with tears in her eyes.

But no one came to help her.

Sera woke up, scared and scared. She couldn’t breathe. It was suffocating to remember that. The pain had returned to her body. Young wanted to scream, but she knew it was unreal pain.

"Sera, all right? You slept all night. It’s time to go."

She calmed down. She took a deep breath and hurried to put on her uniform, lucky she didn’t have to pay for it.

Throughout the meal, Sera thought of the shame that would pass in not being able to transform.

While Kyria guided her towards the clearing, Sera thought of several plans. However, none of them had a satisfactory result.

She squeezed her fingers, marking her hands throughout the journey, feeling nervous.

Upon arriving at the clearing, there was a woman at the site, teacher Sue Adams, with black skin and red hair.

"Today, the rookies introduced their wolves. Wolves usually perform at age 6, so none of this should be difficult for you. We just need to analyze your strength level."

Sera swallowed hard, she would be expelled by showing no strength?

There were not many new students. Only Sera and three others. A blonde girl, a black boy and a Korean.

The clearing was a cozy place. Sera could take off her shoes and feel the freshness of the grass and breathe the fresh air to prepare.

What she did not expect was a heap of students watching everything.

"Do not be nervous, veterans always watch us." - Kyria said.

Of course that information did not help her at all and only made her more nervous, squeezing her fingers with her nails until she bled a little. Especially seeing that Karim was there watching her.

She looked away and focused on the newbies. Each one transformed perfectly and Sera imagined the shame that it would be just her to fail.

With no options, she stepped forward. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

Sera called for her wolf. He asked her to come to her if she was still there. And something surprising happened. She appeared. A light brown wolf with white spots and intense yellow eyes.

Sera knelt before that vision, but the wolf seemed hurt. She walked slowly to the young woman, but when Sera touched her, an expression of pain came to her face.

The wolf moved away and Sera’s body twisted, as it had done as a child. She wanted to scream, however, her voice did not come out.

The wolf disappeared and Sera’s eyes turned yellow, but she did not transform. She just screamed inwardly without making any sound. The pain of that day came to her body and when she couldn’t take it anymore, she fainted.

The last thing she felt was strong arms taking her.

Sera woke up with a slight headache. She didn't remember passing out. Probably, she thought, cleansing the darkness from these lost souls sucked a lot of her energy.“Hey, you finally woke up.” Twilight chirped at her.Sera got up, a little dizzy, and looked at the crow, tired. It seemed like she hadn't even slept.“Do you know how long I slept?” She asked, looking around, searching for any difference.“Probably a day, even though this place doesn't show us whether it's day or night.” The crow replied.Sera began to walk around, even though she was dizzy. For the first time, she noticed that she didn't feel hungry or thirsty, just tired. Had she died just like Karim and her children? It wasn't something she knew how to answer. Her body was limp and tired, as if she were still waking up. She yawned but kept walking.Fear and anguish were always with her. Those souls, even though she couldn't see them, still affected her. Her feelings were deep and chaotic, but Sera felt that such emoti

Jae Hyun didn't know how he got there. A place that shifted between white and black, filled with loud, unrecognizable voices. He wandered aimlessly through the place, the color of the place changing with every step he took and blinding his eyes with every change.Until a golden door appeared, shining brightly, its light inviting him to enter. With no other options, he did so.The energy was intense and cold, like an icy wind on a winter day. Jae Hyun opened his eyes and found himself in a forest. Children passed by him, and he smiled when he noticed that one of them looked very much like his own son, Kian.At that moment, he knew he was experiencing Kallias' memories. However, the reason was still not clear enough. He followed little Kallias, running among the children, his heterochromatic eyes observing the environment. Sera took a deep breath before continuing his journey. The burden of helping everyone was getting heavier and heavier. Even if she felt good to help each other, the responsibility was huge. How many days she was in there? One? Ten? Had it been a month? Two? Three? Sera could not answer, she felt exhausted. The voices in his head returned, asking for help but now the number had decreased. Three families remained, she had a long work ahead.Twilight screeched at her, urging her to get up. "Go ahead, girl. The sooner we finish the job, the sooner we’ll be out of this dump... I mean... Holy tree."Sera laughed and stood up. "If we can get out." an insecure side of her thought. She walked through that endless forest, hearing the calls, trying to identify some of the main families.Until something caught her eye. A deep lament of a lonely dark-skinned and bright-eyed man. An Abiyoe. He was kneeling in the earth, covered with shadows, in tears. His hands covering his face."Isabel. My Isab
