There were wolves running against her, just a frightened child before animals three times her size. A red flag of a grey wolf was fixed right in front of him. "Sera!" - A female voice screamed. The child felt her body being hugged strongly. The last show of affection she would feel until now. Brown eyes and a gentle smile were directed at her. Her mother caressed her face lightly, took a red scarf from her own neck and wrapped it around hers. "It’s cold, Sera. Wear it whenever you want to feel safe. I’ll be with you right now." And with one last smile, there was only blood. The girl tried to say something, but there were only tears. Sera woke up with a scream stuck in her throat. Long ago she didn’t hear her own voice. She didn’t remember how it sounded anymore. Would it be thin? Melancholy? Dragged in? There were no more memories in her mind. Even in her dreams, she couldn’t hear something that hadn’t existed for 10 years. Her home was not a fairy-tale house, or a house like

Sera pressed the scarf against her neck, time had suddenly cooled. The village outside the Forest was empty, there was no living soul in the place but Sera. There was nothing to do but walk. There were old newspapers stuck in the walls talking about a massacre. However, they were faded and the light of the lantern was not strong enough to illuminate to the point that Sera continued reading. She continued to walk, even though strange noises made her tremble with fear. But as she looked around, there was no one.It had been a few hours, how many she did not know, however, the sun was already rising and Sera was far from home, which was a relief. With the day coming, Sera was finally able to see a friendlier spot ahead. It looked like a city after a big bridge that connected the abandoned village to it. Already at the end of the bridge, Sera arrived in the city. It was not a big place, but it was busy. There were cars from one side to the other, which made the girl cover her ears for

Sera did not expect to go this way to the board. On the first day, because she had gotten into a fight. And now the three of them were in Principal Cordélia Dawood’s office, and the 70-year-old’s blue eyes expressed no happiness. And of course, Sera didn’t like it at all. She looked at Karim and the blond boy and they didn’t seem to care at all, as if they had already been through this situation several times. The director took a long breath and the fringe of her short hair covered her eyes for a moment. "Mr Ramesses and Mr Rie, I think you gentlemen think my office is a tourist spot to visit so many times."The boys looked down, ashamed."And you, Miss Abrams. Even if I was defending a friend, pushing Lord Ramesses to the ground is not something I can leave unpunished."Sera looked away embarrassed, she did not know how it had happened. Only that he was on the floor, seconds later. "Detention of two days for Miss Abrams and Mr Ramesses and two weeks for Mr Rie.""What? But..." -

Sera closed her eyes and both wolves disappeared. Her breathing accelerated and she began to sway. Her pressure dropped and the panic took her again. Why was she so weak? Her breath became more and more panting and she tried to take a deep breath and let go slowly, as Yelena had taught. Sera began to calm down, but fear was still present in her bones. "Sera" Someone shouted at her, it was Kyria. Thomas was after her and as surprising as it was, Karim. He stood before everyone and knelt in front of her. "What happened, weirdo? You "are" pale. Someone attacked you?" He held her by the shoulders and shook her, looking surprisingly worried. "Hey. Take it easy. She’s scared." - Kyria said. And so she was taken to the ward. Again. Sera was getting tired of all this repetition. The doctor sent everyone out and made her sit on the bed. Sera watched as she examined her. A w

The sun touched her face as Sera opened her eyes. Again, the infirmary. Well, she couldn’t complain, she’d been saved and it wasn’t a place like her old home either. She just wouldn’t want to be giving so much work to Doctor Ty. "Hey, Sera. How are you?" - Kyria and Thomas entered the room. "I’d rather not just be dead weight." - Wrote. "Don’t say that. You’re our best friend." - signaled Thomas, translated by Kyria. "I think I should leave. It would be safer for everyone." - Sera wrote sadly."Go away? Are you thinking right?" - Kyria exclaimed. "Don’t think nonsense, girl. There’s no safer place than WolfPaws." Headmistress Cordelia entered the infirmary in her elegant posture. "As you three are involved in the latest events, I wish to speak with you." Cordelia sat down in one of the chairs and paid attention t
