“What do you think happened to Wesley?” Diwata asked when we all huddled up for lunch.

I had a stinking suspicion about it but I just don’t want to think negatively when things have finally started to turn normal for me. My first week here was rough and I’m already exhausted with all of the stuff that happened to me. I’m not much of an optimistic person myself but I refuse to create this negative narrative inside my head.

Wesley quickly grew on us, not because he was bullied by Benjie and the rest of the other kids but because he was genuinely the funniest guy that I’ve met.

“Do you think some sort of monster was behind all of this?” Norman uttered dreadfully voicing out what I was running rampant inside my head.

“It could be.” Soraya spat backing up Norman’s thoughts. “I picked up some stuff at the grocery store yesterday and I walked by this wall filled with photos of missing people.”
