"Is this the reason why you didn't want me to turn on the Tv?" I asked him as the tears were threatening to fall from my eyes.

"How did you get this?, I told you to stay in the car, damn it. " He said while running his hand through his hair in frustration.

"You believe them, don't you?" I asked him but instead of replying to me, he stared at me like I had gone nuts before tossing aside the paper bag he had come into the car with which made the content of the bag fall to the car floor.
