It’s been two weeks.

Two whole weeks since Damon claimed my baby as his… two weeks since my world turned upside down.

Under Damon’s order, I was given this lavish room. It was larger than my old one in the servant quarters, with velvet curtains, a private fireplace, and a view that looked out over the training fields. It smelled like sandalwood, leather, and something uniquely Damon—earthy and dominant. He hadn’t been back since the Moon Festival, but his presence lingered in the space like a quiet promise.

He had told me not to be afraid. That he would protect me. That I was carrying his pup.

Thanks to Damon’s command, no one dared mistreat me again.

No more bruises. No more harsh glares in the hallways. No more whispers calling me names behind my back. At least not where I could hear them.
