I could tell I made Hayden uncomfortable by asking him that question. I wanted to see his reaction. I expected him to tell me that he had never thought of me like that. That I was just his sister's annoying friend. Or I was too young for him, but he just stood there quietly. His pale blue eyes turned dark.
