Millie's POV.
I don't know how or where I got the courage to be so bold and asked him to kiss me like this. It was as if being near Hayden boosted my confidence. I can be myself around him without worry.
I'm glad I asked because when I kissed him, it was like fireworks. I know I'm being cheesy, but there's no other way to describe it. My entire body hummed with awareness, and I wanted to taste him more. He was my drug.
