Bella's POV

I was confused as to what is going on. That is when I felt something hot and wet in my shoulder. I pulled away as I cupped Xavier's face.

He was having tears. He wasn't crying or sobbing. But tears were flowing. I grabbed the chair and made him sit down. I cupped his face making him look at me.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked in a soft voice as if speaking to a child. "You don't love me. You will never love a monster like me. I am not worth your love. I don't deserve it." He kept rambling.

It was like he hated himself. My eyes start to tear up at his vulnerability. How can he even think himself as a monster.

"Look at me. You are not a monster. You understand?" I told him sternly as if a mother is talking to her children.

"You don't think I am a monster?" He asked me as he bit his lips with shiny eyes. He reminds me of a small puppy. How can he think of himself as a monster?

I shook my head at him as I smiled to reassure him.
