Vine quickly made it down the pavement, cursing as her heels pressed against her toes. She didn't find a cab, and she couldn't wait so she had to walk at least three blocks.

It wasn't like she wasn't good with heels. She was good with walking in them not running, and she would have taken them off without a thought, so she could run better, if not for wanting to maintain decency.

She finally made it to her apartment, stopping for a second to catch her breath and take off those demonice heels since she was away from public eyes it felt like heaven to be free.

As she burst through the door, she saw Gold sharply turn around in fear, as she knelt down beside Tony, who in turn, was laying on the couch.

“Jesus Christ, you scared me." Gold clutched her chest and stood up, going to hug Vine.

Vine half heartedly accepted the hug, her entire mind transfixed on her brother, show as laying on the couch.

“I'm sorry. What's going on?" She asked her best friend.
