I was drifting in and out of sleep occasionally but I knew it was morning already from the sound of the birds chirping from the window, after rustling and contemplating if I should get up from the comfortable bed and the more comfortable arms of my alpha I stood up, The windows were left open and curtains were drawn,

I took up my robe before going to the balcony to get my daily dose of the morning breeze and nature, seeing some guards were on duty and some servants attending to some of the overgrown flowers and cutting them, I had gone back inside after that I looked over to see Kal had tousled over to my side making me giggle, and wondering how long it would take to notice my side of the bed isn’t warm anymore,

my attention over to the portrait that was near one of the windows stills, it was a picture of the woman who had an uncanny resemblance to kal, I assumed it was his mother from how much they looked alike and he has no sibling that I knew of, I stared at her g
