Sophia POV

I would be lying if I said Bethany was not a great friend. She was perfect, and she was actually extraordinary.

I even had to pay for her own dinner too, despite the fact that she insisted on paying. It seemed as though I had underestimated her, and she had the right resources.

She was also from a wealthy family and just decided to stay away from her family to be able to cope on her own. I knew a lot about her suddenly, just over one night.

And of course, I told her a little about myself, making sure to remove the part about Aiden. The only thing I told her about was my company and Elena, how my family hurt us, and how I am trying to boost my company into something much larger than it already was.

She even volunteered to assist me with anything I needed. I decided to show her my place. At least it would make things easier for me.

Finally, I had seen someone I could talk to, someone I could cling to, and someone I could share anything and everything with. It excited me.
