“The woman you love?” I asked Aiden in shock and he opened his mouth to speak but words didn’t come out.

It was the first time I was hearing him say the L word to my face since we got back after the divorce.

But seeing as he didn't have the balls to repeat himself, I wondered if he even meant it when he said it the first time.

“You know what? Goodnight, Aiden. I've got a movie to watch”

I told him before turning around to go back into my apartment but then he grabbed my arm and turned back around to face him.

“I'm not letting you walk away” he gritted his teeth and without warning, he claimed my lips, drawing them into his and he softly biting on my lower lip.

I quickly pushed him away and my chest heaved fast. Up and down nonstop as we both stared at each other.

My lips still tingled from the touch of his and inside me, a storm of want and desire grew. I knew I had to make him go away before I'd lose total control of myself but I couldn't say a word.
