SELENA’S POV

Later that evening just after I successfully put Sisi to sleep, I heard a soft knock on the door. I paused for a while taking my eyes off Sisi to look at the door before slowly creeping out of bed to check who is at the door. I rubbed the back of my palm against my eyes to completely clear the sleep. I walked slowly and gripped the knob and with one slow pull, the door opened bringing me face to face with Adeline.

“You are five minutes behind Selene. Time is important if you must get it right”. She said and began to walk away. I took a quick glance at the little innocent sleeping preciously on the bed before moving out of the lobby. The moment the door slowly clicked I raced up to meet Adeline’s pace.
