Chapter 29

Three days had passed since we had arrived back home. 

I had barely seen Grayson as he was busy evacuating the town, welcoming warriors that had travelled to help us in the impending battle, and training those who were willing to fight. 

I myself had been busy teaching the women all that I knew, Blake even offered to help out... whenever he and Brynn could keep their hands off each other for more than 25 minutes.

It was still strange for me to see them together, my big brother and my sister in law, but I was beyond happy for them. 

"Hey sis, could I talk to you for a second?", Blake approached me as our training session for the afternoon was coming to a close. 

"Yeah sure", I smiled as he led me away from the group, "What's up?".

I could see concern beginning to form on his face as he looked down at me, he shuffled on his feet uncomfortably as I stared into his eyes, silently demanding an answer.
