Chapter 6

"That's enough! Mr. Phil."

Ike's voice came and Phil froze for a moment.

"Ike?

Have you come to meddle, you old man?"

Phil glared angrily at Ike.

Ike strode up to me and pulled me out of Phil's grasp, but Phil's sharp fingertips still left several cuts on my wrist, and blood dripped on the ground.

"Mr. Phil, I hope you can understand that Jenny is the Lord Count's pet, and you should also be clear that he doesn't like anyone touching his things at will, otherwise, on behalf of the Lord Count, I will drive you out of the manor!"

Ike took my hand and warned Phil seriously.

After saying those words, he turned and left the sea of flowers with quick steps.

And my whole body trembled, and what had just happened was still stimulating every nerve I had.

Only the tears were still rolling down.

"Grace, are you okay?"

Ike turned back, his tone as gentle as Noah’s

But he was getting further and further away from me in my eyes, and his voice was getting blurred.

When my eyes went black, I could no longer hear any sound.

By the time I woke up, I was back in my room.

Besides me, it was Noah, looking at me with a frown.

But as I looked around the room at this point, it seemed like there were shadows of Phil everywhere, constantly approaching me.

I cried out and flung myself at Noah , who was my last straw.

Noah held out his hands to catch me while I hid in his arms, not daring to look anywhere in the room, my eyes tightly closed and my hands clutching his shirt as I cried.

Noah gently patted my back and comforted me, as if he was coaxing a child who had been robbed of his candy.

I suddenly realized that Noah was my master and the vampire.

Pets were not allowed to actively touch their owners, otherwise, they would be killed.

I hurriedly sat up and looked at Noah with my suit wet with tears as I looked at him in despair.

"Grace, listen, whatever Phil says to you today, don't believe it, I'm not going to suck your blood, okay?"

As if sensing my fear, Noah said to me seriously,

I froze in place. Didn t he buy me back to draw my blood? But why did he say he wouldn t suck my blood?

Whether what he said was true or not, at least he took me away from Philip and gave me a good enough life.

Noah said as he stood up and held out his hand to me.

Holding by Noah to the door of the room, I just saw a brand new pair of white leather shoes sitting on the floor.

One shoe of the original blue pair was lost.

Putting on the white leather shoes, I followed Noah down the hall.

At this time, Phil should be in the lobby...

I did not want to see that kind of scene a second time.

But I didn't dare to break away from Noah’s grip, which might have angered him.

Noah turned around, gently rubbed my head, and said gently.

I looked at the large hall, remembered that Phil would be coming soon, and hurried to sit next to him.

Noah said calmly.

Hearing Noah’s words, I subconsciously grabbed the corner of Noah’s coat.

"Yes, the Lord Creed."

Ike bowed and walked out of the hall.

It didn't take long for Phil to appear at the entrance to the hall.

I lowered my head and dared not look at him, I was afraid to see Phil's scarlet eyes and his fangs that could bite through my arteries.

Phil's footsteps were getting closer and closer, and I could only keep my head lower and lower.

"Noah, are you still angry with me because of what happened this morning?"

Phil stood at the table to Noah and asked, not

feeling like he had done anything wrong.

Noah’s voice remained calm, but I could feel that his body seemed colder than it had just been.

Phil wisecracked.

I knew that many vampires put a brand on their pets, a brand that would not wash off for the rest of their lives.

The fork in Noah’s hand was pressed to the table, he glared at Phil and spoke a language I couldn't understand.

The lights throughout the hall kept flickering because of his anger, and outside the hall, a swarm of bats fled in all directions.
