Nikita’s POV

When she finally comes to her senses and the whole situation dawns on her, she looks worried and a little sick. She has never bought up the fact that I’m made to sleep with her father, and the fact is, she has probably heard a lot of what happens in his room. I notice her eyes are very red, it looks like she has been crying. Such a waste of energy, tears don’t solve problems. I have been so wrapped up in my own problems I completely forgot! ‘Fuck! I’m sorry Keeva. Let’s see your mark then?’ I can’t hide my shock to see the crook of her neck is still untouched. ‘Didn’t he try and give you his mate mark Keeva?’ My confusion apparent from the twisted look on my face. That was the whole point of Alpha Julius putting on that ridiculous display last night. In his mind he was protecting Keeva. She looks as confused as me. Goddess help us all, what the fuck is going on now. I don’t think I can take much more.
