Chapter Twenty

Channon’s POV

I tear open the thick, opulent envelope. The embossed paper falls to the table in front of me. I scan over the hand written words that swoop and swirl dramatically over the page. ‘Shifting in a place where humans are’, ‘entering vampire territory without notification’. I tear the letter in two and smash my fist through the solid wooden table I’m sat at. As my intentions were to kill Julius and take back my birth right, I saw no sense in alerting the vampires, I didn’t want to lose the element of surprise. They are far too quick to meddle in the affairs of werewolves, and we are no longer bound to do their bidding. I should have made my presence known since taking my rule as Alpha, but this twaddle about shifting in front of human is ridiculous. Noone saw me at the bar. No reports have been made as such.
