Chapter forty - nine

        Leo limped outside the bar, Veronica was by his side supporting him.

He staggered to his car, leaning almost all his weight on her. He was slowly losing consciousness as he was losing lots of blood.

" Can you drive?", Leo asked, he groaned when he flexed his shoulder.

" Yes, I can drive"

He tossed the key at her which she caught with ease.

" Good catch"

" Stop talking and get in the car", Veronica scowled at him.

  He chuckled, Veronica assisted him in getting into the car, she made sure he was sitting comfortable before she sat in the driver's seat.

" Are you sure you can drive because I do not want to die now", he joked.
