Chapter 5

Lorraine stood before a giant mirror, she stared deeply at her reflection, she was not familiar with the person staring back at her. Her hair was scattered over her face, her eyes swollen from sleeplessness. Correctly said: swollen due to the stress she has been through.

She observed herself, her dirty clothes, her stained face and the new cuts left on her arm by the ridges that had pierced her in the woods.

"This isn't me, this can't be me." She whispered to herself.

She used her hand to adjust the strands of hair littered over her face, then placed her fingers on her cheeks and raised them up to force a smile on her face. She was not satisfied. She still looked pale and sick.

She was still trying to design a good enough smile on your face when she heard a voice trotting towards the room she was in. It was James's voice telling whoever it was in the parlor to go get some rest.
