Immediately I got the call I shut my office and walked quickly to my car in the parking lot , I turned and saw Zeke " Nessa where the hell are you rushing to ?" He asked " don't worry about it I'll be back" I said " oh common I'm your assistant so I'm suppose to go with you to anything relating to the case " he stated " and what if I tell you its personal do you still have to go with me?" I asked " no but …." he said before I interrupted him saying " so its personal I'll see you when I see you" . With that I left him staring speechless I zoomed off to the hospital where the autopsy is being held.

I got there and as soon as I entered,  I showed the lady at the desk my ID and she walked me to an office. " hello I'm detective Nessa you called me earlier right?" I said showing her my ID 

" yes I did we did the autopsy and found the same thing in all the bodies " she said as she gave me a sheet of paper . The paper stated that no amount of blood was found in them, no bones were broken, no cut just a weird bite mark and its concluded that the cause of death is not known . "Everything about this case is so weird " i said "yes we haven't seen anything like this as it stand we can't say what caused their death" the lady said " alright but can I see the bodies one last time?" I asked " yes you can please come with me." She said urging me to follow her as we walked through the hall then she stopped at a door and opened it . Inside the room were filled with lifeless bodies of innocent people, I must bring the killer to book and with that thought I exited the room and walked to my car and rode home  silently . I got home and and decided to just eat noodles for dinner considering I don't have the energy to cook something heavy as it's only me at home. By the time I finished eating it was past 9 already I don't think i should disturb Karen , I'll just call her tomorrow. 

NEXT DAY 

As my alarm ring, I woke up and got ready on time to go to the office considering the way I left Zeke that might get to Shawn. I took my bathe and put on black skinny trousers a top and a suit coat took my ID , bag and phone. I entered my car and zoomed off as I forgot to eat breakfast.

I got to the office and met Zeke " Mr Shawn wants to see us and I must say he us in a pissed mood" he said as we both went to his office " sir you called us?" I asked immediately we entered " he looked at me for a long time and said " I gave you a case to handle how far have you gone with it?"  " sir we just finished the autopsy and we are  still finding a way to track the killer we are doing our best" I said " track the killer you say , for how long ,your best is not enough .the total number of persons who died that day were 25 , and now another kill take a look at these " he said showing me some pictures. " these bodies were found in a house , a family of 4 were killed a father,  mother and two daughters who are age 8 and 10 . What do we call this detective Vanessa this case is In your hands I want you to work harder and bring the killer to book." He said " alright sir we will do our best , we promise to bring the killer to book." I said and left with Zeke walking behind me with the file Shawn thrower at us .

" Nessa I'm so…." Zeke tried to say before I interrupted him saying " not now Zeke get in the  car we are going for investigation" and with that I moved the car.

We rode in pin drop silence and Zeke new I wasnt in a mood to talk considering how I was frowning and gripping the steering with force.

I had actually checked the file for the address and it was actually 2 houses from mine unbelievable .

"We are here ," I said to Zeke as I alighted the car as we both walked to the entrance. Getting there we met some reporters who were recording the scene , I showed them my ID as I saw a lady crying and yelling " no this can't be , how can you tell me that my sister is dead , I talked to her yesterday I even talked to her kids ,no this can't be happening she is all I've got the only family I have " it was so obvious she is the sister to the dead woman. I must find this killer cause it's so unfair . 

I entered the house and saw the bodies, they were looking pale and the bite Mark's were there,

As I walked further to one of the kid I saw a sticky note which read

    Hello Vanessa you need to drop this case cause this matter doesn't concern you or else you are gonna lose someone soon

From the way this is going,  i can tell it's a person and a Male for that matter. But the thing is how the fuckung hell did this guy know my name and how does he know I'm a detective . This means who ever it is knows me and knows what I look like that's why he is threatening people close to me . God this is just a mess.

" Van are you there?" Zeke said through his walkie talkie bringing me out of my thoughts " yes I'm here " I replied back " come to the room up stairs " he said as I hurriedly climbed the stairs as I walked through the balcony I met Zeke as I followed him into a room , the room looks like a kids room so I guess it's for one of the kid the window is slightly opened and in the glass it wrote " STAY AWAY " as Zeke quickly took a picture of it 

So we both went out side and Zeke said he wants to go back to the office,  I don't know the reason though so I just decided to go to my house since it's just two houses away,  but I didn't bother telling Zeke " alright I'll be going home now I'll see you tomorrow " I said " oh come on your house is just two houses away let's go get something to eat" he said smiling Tf did he know that " how did you know about my house" I questioned with my hands on my hips " uhm….. well… I got it from your file that's how I also got your number" he said stammering this boy is something else " ok anyways thanks for the offer I would rather just go home I have had a very bad day " I said as I entered my car and went home .
