Chapter 24

I throw bread crumbs to the Pidgeon, hearing the flapping of their wings put a smile on my face, this is the one thing that makes me happy.

But then again, this is the place, Jesse and I had our first conversations, this is the place he told me he wanted to get to know me.

Tear gather, no, I shouldn't be like this.

"Hey, they seem to be a lot today". I hear Luther say with an exciting tone.

Hearing his voice suddenly brought some sort of comfort "Are you okay?".

" Of course I am, I'm just happy to be here". I force a smile

"Well, that's great, I'm happy if you're happy".

As soon as we were done, we go back to the house

" What a day today ". Luther said assisting me on the couch

" Yea, apart from Benita I think it was quite okay".

I hear him sigh "You know, what Benita said wasn't wrong, it's gonna be hard taking your father's businesses away from him, he has everyone on his side".

" I know, we need to get married as soon as possible". I hear him gasp "What? what is it?".
