CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN: SPYING GONE WRONG

Twenty minutes later, I stood out in the street with Morris in my arms. I was again in an all black ensemble that was my standard badass costume. I looked down at Morris, who was staring at me with an expression that could only be described as alarm. 

“Listen, buddy. We are going to go spy on some demons. As Mr. Blue eyes had ordered, we have to stay out of trouble. I know it would be boring, but today is not the day to fight. We would just spy on them like Adrian and Artemis want to do. Last time, I had flaunted my presence, and they swarmed to me. But this time, we will try to find them while not getting into their sight. We have to channel our inner James Bond’s. Understood?” I instructed Morris, who was looking at me as if I was crazy.
