"So you have a half brother?" I ask him curiously.

"Yes, he is almost a member of the pack. He had been asking for years but we haven't fully welcomed him in yet. We wanted to see what kind of a person he could be." He tells me.

"How? Isn't your mother his mate. Not many mates cheat with somebody else so how did this happen?" I ask.

"This was right before my mother came of age. My father thought that he was madly in love with somebody from another pack and they wanted to have pups of their own to raise to be Alpha. Then, when my mother came of age and he found out that she was his mate, he could no longer look at the other woman again. He did not know until later on that she was already pregnant with his child. She grew bitter and raised the child to hate us. A few years ago she passed away, and he began asking to join our pack.
