After breakfast the next morning, Naomi decided to meet Nahil and asked him permission to meet Evie. She knew he might not agree but she decided to give it a try, after all there is no harm in trying.

Breathing heavily, she knocked on the door of his study and waited for his response but no one answered. She knocked again, no answer, she gave a frustrated sigh and made to go back because he had specifically warned her not to ever enter his room or his study.

" I wanted to ask for permission to go and see my friend," she replied politely.
