The next morning; I was just getting out of my bedroom when mom rushed past me; she was in a hurry, I ask; where she was going to, since today was weekend; mom turns; she gave me a dark stare, and said she had a call from her boss at the office; that he wanted her to accompany him to a business meeting; mom kiss my cheeks as she ran off to her car; I don't really know why would her boss call her during weekends.

I go to the kitchen, I wanted to make breakfast, I turn on the gas, I kept the pot on top of it; and as I walk to the fridge, I heard Candy; she was screaming my name from outside.
