Mia and Mark

Mia calmly sat back, "Who are you?" She raised her brows.

"My name's Mark. I picked you up from the roadside. You were lying under the harsh rain."

It dawned on Mia that it is raining. She listened to the rain roaring angrily.

"Would you want to have coffee?"

She nodded in reply, "yes please."

"Hold on a sec."

She stared at him walking out of the room.

After a few minutes, his footsteps started echoing in the room. Mia glanced at his feet, they were covered in a pair of jet-black boots. He stood at a corner nursing a cup of coffee. Mia noticed him staring at her as if she have wrinkles on her face she felt so unrelaxed, "what's it?"

Mark advanced to her and he stretched the cup of coffee to her. His arm was lengthy as a mopstick and she grasped the cup, kneeled her head sipping the coffee through pursed lips.

Mark folded his arms and he looked at her that way again. Now she found it annoying and she wore a tight frown wondering what was going on in his mind.
