Slowly, almost cautiously he lowered his head until their lips were only a feather touch apart. He could sense Olivia stretching up to meet him, but he placed a firm hand on the back of her neck, keeping her still. He knew he wouldn’t be able to stop at a kiss and he slowly pulled away from her lips, trying to regain some control over his body and desire that was burning deep down inside of him, taking in a deep breath as his eyes were closed, he was about to take a step away, not wanting to rush things or give her pressure just to please his own desire.

 “Marcus.” that one single word was filled with a longing that was his undoing and he pressed his mouth softly back on hers.
