As the huge white double doors have opened, and the sounds of two sets of footsteps approaching, Olivia and I both looked behind us at two people approaching us.
My eyes narrowed when I saw Samantha and Tyson approaching us with their heads held high.
I knew it! I knew those bastards had their filthy hands in this mess.
Tyson looked me in the eyes and smirked for a second as a nasty gleam passed over his eyes. Samantha was looking at Olivia with so much disgust and hate showing in her feature that even shocked me for a moment.

I couldn’t believe it with my own eyes as I stood there looking at that smiling face of his. Damon was here! He opened the door as Marcus came and took my hand, “Come my love. We need to go.” I blinked and walked ahead with him towards the door, feeling as this isn’t real, but the moment I walked through the door before Marcus, as he let me pass first, I smelled Damon’s familiar scent and without another thought, the realization of the situation being true, finally made me realize as I threw myself into Damon’s embrace. He wrapped his arms around my waist and said, “Don’t worry, you both are getting out now.” I looked up into his eyes, as a gentle smile graced his features, making me smile gratefully back at him.

The air was chilly as we were for a long time riding on the dragon’s back. Two dragons were flying alongside while a huge dark one was on the front leading us to the unknown. Marcus felt a shiver run through my body as I was starting to feel cold, so he pulled me closer to his front and wrapped his arms tighter, securing me in place. The feeling was out of this world, to be in my mate’s embrace, but we all knew that the danger was not gone, just postponed. I turned to look to our side to see my brother on the front with Logan sitting on the back, trying not to be too close to James. We were all patiently sitting and waiting for the old dragon called Edmond to come as Damon went to find him. Waking up the next day after the long night of passion felt different but in a completely different way.
