“Or if you refuse to do it willingly, then you leave us no other choice but to do it ourselves by force.”
I couldn’t believe what they were asking of us to do.
The fear crept inside of my heart, making my breathing stop as panic flooded inside of me.
I looked up at Marcus, feeling his arms wrap around me tighter. He was looking at the Elder that was leading this court. I could see his facial features became hard as he was glaring at the Elder, growling slightly from his chest.
“You cannot force the rejection on anyone. There is no such thing...” Marcus said fiercely but was cut off by the one standing the entire time.
“Of course none of us have such strong powers to do that, but there is one who can.” He said, making me
I couldn’t believe it with my own eyes as I stood there looking at that smiling face of his. Damon was here! He opened the door as Marcus came and took my hand, “Come my love. We need to go.” I blinked and walked ahead with him towards the door, feeling as this isn’t real, but the moment I walked through the door before Marcus, as he let me pass first, I smelled Damon’s familiar scent and without another thought, the realization of the situation being true, finally made me realize as I threw myself into Damon’s embrace. He wrapped his arms around my waist and said, “Don’t worry, you both are getting out now.” I looked up into his eyes, as a gentle smile graced his features, making me smile gratefully back at him.
The air was chilly as we were for a long time riding on the dragon’s back. Two dragons were flying alongside while a huge dark one was on the front leading us to the unknown. Marcus felt a shiver run through my body as I was starting to feel cold, so he pulled me closer to his front and wrapped his arms tighter, securing me in place. The feeling was out of this world, to be in my mate’s embrace, but we all knew that the danger was not gone, just postponed. I turned to look to our side to see my brother on the front with Logan sitting on the back, trying not to be too close to James. The sight was hysterical to witness as the two bickered whole the way from the Elders’ lands.
We were all patiently sitting and waiting for the old dragon called Edmond to come as Damon went to find him. Damien called in a pack member that brought us some hot chocolate and it felt good as it tasted absolutely amazing and the warmth calmed down my nerves. Not that I was nervous, more like excited to meet this old dragon and hear him out. The door to the study room opened and inside came Damon followed slowly by a tall man that had long grey hair that was tied back into a little ponytail but suited him nicely. He looked more like a hippie as the air around him felt calm and friendly. He didn’t look at all old, more mature as he had around his blue eyes little lines that showed he smiled a lot. He looked over at us
Marcus POVI and the guys were sitting alone with Damon, Wyatt, Zen, and Damien in the study as the girls went out together with Edmond to find in the old library the ancient book in which it says how and where to find the White Moon’s warriors and the mountain, as we will need to know how to get inside it.“So...” Damon said, looking at me as we all were sitting on two leather couches, drinking his father’s whiskey, and discussing what we all have just found out.I looked over at him, arching my eyebrow in question as I asked him, “What?”I have kind of knew what they were all thinking and wanting to ask, but that's none of their business to know, as it was between Olivia and me only.
Time stood still as Marcus was looking down into Olivia’s eyes. He couldn’t believe his ears what he was hearing, as he mutedly looked into her eyes, trying to find if she was serious about what she was saying. “Love... are you sure?” Marcus asked her, feeling his heart pounding hard in his chest as Shadow was excitedly jumping inside his head. “Yes... I want us to complete the bond and mark each other, Marcus.” Her hand caressed his cheek, looking deep into his eyes, and in a second his lips were pressed down onto hers, kissing her with all the love and passion he was feeling for her. He pressed her down on her back into the softness of the mattress, pressing her down with his chest as his hands roamed down her body. He
Waking up the next day after the long night of passion felt different but in a completely different way. The feeling was so hard to explain, as I never in my life felt so complete and like the last piece of the puzzle has set in its place. A strong grip was holding me in place, making my back pressed into a strong chest, as warmth engulfed me in its cozy cocoon. My hand reached up to where now my mark was showing, touching it as it felt a little sore, but I couldn't stop the feeling of pure and complete happiness that ran through my whole body while my fingertips caressed Marcus’ mark. A slow movement made me for a brief moment to freeze, as a gentle kiss was laid down right above my mark, making a shiver run through my body as not intentionally a moan left my lips,
“An hour and a half at the most. They are moving pretty fast.”Soon as Wyatt has said this, Damon was fast to move, giving out orders while Marcus said to us all, “We have to get moving fast. Go get everything you might need because this is going to be one long journey.”Everyone nodded their heads, agreeing with him as they all rushed back to their rooms to pack up all necessities.“Go and pack your things, love, I will join you in a few minutes,” Marcus said, caressing my cheek as he leaned down and kissed my lips.As he was about to turn around and leave after Damon, I reached out my hand to grab onto his, making him stop and turn around to look at me, “Where are you going?”
Hearing the name Edmond made the man walk towards us. He raised his crane and said something which I couldn’t quite understand, making the barrier that we saw glimmer a few moments ago to shine as a whole was made in the invisible wall. “Come through.” The man said as he gestured towards us with his hand. Slowly, one by one we walked past the barrier making it the moment the last one of us passed it, to close up again behind our backs. When I turned back, looking away from the barrier, my breath got caught in my throat as we all stood there dumbfounded, seeing what looked like a little village appear before us. “Welcome to Kellela. Follow me.” The man said to us as we all followed slowly, sticking to each other close by,
