Alpha Tristan POV.

“How dare you?!” Maxion said in anger as he switched into his wolf form and pounced on him.

“Restrain yourself Maxion!” I snapped

In response, Maxion dodged to the side, avoiding the rebel leader and landing behind him on all fours. “Of course Alpha.” he said, shifting out of his wolf form

Once in ear sure that Maxion wasn't about attacking again, I directed my gaze to the rebel leader. He looked to be in his mind thirties, at least from his facial features. He had Auburn hair with a stoic expression on his face. Despite the fact that he stood before me, there was no trace of fear on his face.

Looking past him, I noticed the slaves eyeing us cautiously. It felt like they were waiting for us to attack him so they can leap to his defense but I noticed that they all had fear in their eyes.

“What is your name?” Maxion asked calmly.

“Bolton.” He replied.

“Are you the spokesman for the slaves?” He asked.
