Stacy's Pov
I closed my eyes as soon as I opened it, the sun shining in through the window. I close my eyes again before blinking, trying to adjust to the light as I look around the room.
I roll over and I'm greeted with soft, warm fur.
Jay.
I can't stop the smile that appears on my face as he stirs and nuzzles into me. I pay his fur affectionately and kiss his nose. His body vibrates with a welcome purr. He leans forward and licks my cheek. I giggle and he gives me a wolfy smile at the sound.
"Hey, wolfy," I say quietly. I can't hide the sadness on my face as he whines in response.
I'll never forget his pained howl when I walked away from him last night. The sound cut through me and I felt my heart break into two.

Stacy's Pov Jordan carried me out of the bed and carried it into the living room where he sat down and cradled me in his arms and wrapped a blanket around me. I felt like a baby but because it's nice I'll let it slide. Jordan didn't say anything, he just ran his fingers through my hair and pressed kisses along my hairline, my cheeks and jaw. I lean into his touch, allowing the electric flow through me and soothing my nerves. "You're a fucking bad ass, you know that?" He says above me as I sigh in pleasure from his hands around me. "What?" I ask, leaning my head to rest on his shoulder and he kisses my forehead, lingering for a long while. "You handled a full grown male werewolf all by yourself. You don't even know how to fight yet you messed him up pretty badly." I chortle and lean over to nuzzle my face in his neck. "Where is he?" I ask.
