The contradiction

Mr Davian is standing outside his office in seven storey building .

Smiling at his phone he signals for the security guard to come over.The man moves with speed and bows his head . "Call my secretary now " 

' Yes sir' he says and leaves .

Mr Davian has just spoken to Queen and they will have dinner together, At the T restaurant. One of the famous restaurant in city .

"Sir , you called for me "

The secretary says . Looking at his Boss . 

' Yes , kindly is there anything I have to sign I will be unavailable for the next two days ' 

" sir , the meeting you were supposed to attend on Monday has been shifted to tomorrow morning " 

" why didn't you tell me earlier? "

Came the question from the Boss .

Hildah looks down on herself because she understands her boss very well when upset .

She recalls an incident when she forget to update him about the progress of the project and had threatened to fire her.

She had to convince him that all was fine and pleaded so much to be forgiven . Then she was given a last chance .

When she recalled this she starts trembling .

"Sir please I can explain" 

' what are you waiting for , it must be a good one or else you will just get lost ' he sneered .

" I got the information after lunch and I was about to inform , but I had to compile the work you assigned me " 

He looked at her with penetrating eyes , this lady in front of him was indeed beautiful and he lusted for her but he could not imagine it .

He grew up with a principle that no lady will dominate his minds and make him .

At the thought of this he recalls Queen . He really want to tell her his feelings , fearing to be disappointed he suppresses hi imagination .

"Call them and say I will be bust " 

" But Sir that will mean that the project will be put a stand still" 

Its then that he understands her words because that meeting is supposed to be the one to approved the already complete stage and deliberate on the next stage .

He feels over pressed by this work , he has never had time for his social life and he is aging .

"Then you will go " 

He says staring at her .

Hidah knew that his Boss needed an assistant but never had she thought that the opportunity will fall into her hands .

She had been dreaming of it and could not come to agree with her day dreams . Just when she thought she might lose her job .

She comes into realization that she is the Assistant.

"come to my office" 

He says and walks over to his office .

Five minutes later , she had signed the contract and read through her duties .

Smiling Queen goes back to her friends .

They don't notice and she continues to eat .

Queen comes from a Standard family background with humble parenthood .she was raised by her dad after the death of her mother .

They are only two being the  elder child she had to set a good example to her younger brother .who was in high school.

Her father has a small company .

Her family history is not complicated and she is at easy .

"We are going to the swimming pool in the after , her friends announces ." 

She looks at her and says nothing .They leave the school canteen heading to the swimming pool .

Queen stays back drowing their attention .

' Are you not going ? ' 

One of them asks her .

" I have something to attend to , I will join you next time " 

She says and turns back to leave.

She is changing very fast , does she think that Mr Davian will fall for her . poor girl . haha forget about her , she is probably overthinking  and she wants a way to meet with him again .

She is not even that beautiful , Mr Davian will fall for me when he sees me . one of them remarks .They keep talking about her and suddenly one of them recalls something .

"Wait , I think Queen received a call while we were having lunch ."

'Don't you think she is hiding something ' another one says.

' why are you concerned about it ' 

' let's go and refresh ourselves ' 

They all leave and head to the pool.

" Did you hear that Queen , was with the richest man in our city " 

A lady asks her friend at the pool.

"Am not sure about that , how could she meet that prominent person " her friend asks .

' I wonder too , but John said he saw her alight from , Mr Davian's land rover yesterday at the roadside near that seven storey building ' she answers back .

" Do you believe John that much , maybe he saw someone else or someone who resembles her " she sneers at her friend .

'Why do you talk as if you have a grudge with her ' he friend questions .

' I don't like these poor , people if that is true I will call her mom " she smiles wickedly .

" Do not be that sure of yourself " he friend advises .

"Mercy I wonder why you are standing for her , it makes me sick ' she answers .

Mercy says: " we have to learn to live with each other , besides she is a good person , she did not chose to be born in a poor family   wealth is not the definition of people but how they treat each other " 

' Am tired with these lectures of yours , everytime you stand out for these wretched human beings who do not deserve to be pitied' her friends adds . ' I think you should look for her and be her friend , we can't go on like this when all the time you are scolding me " she concludes and stands up to leave .

Mercy does not chase after but only looks at her with contempt .she feels this friendship should as well end because , this friend of her is very arrogant and full of herself . She recalls the many times she had to stand for her after she got herself in trouble and let's go .

Meanwhile Queen's classmates arrive where mercy is sited . Sjr looks at them and finds out that Queen is missing , she begins to feel anxious . Why am I these concerned about her . she wonders and she feels something is strange .

She doesn't know Queen well nor are they related but she feels the urge to talk to her .

Mercy is from a rich family   he father owns a bar and three restaurants in the city . A restaurant , Delicious restaurant and Freshy restaurant . She approaches one of her classmates and asks : " where us is Queen ?" .

She laughs at her question and ignores her . but then she looks at her well and comes to the realization that its Mercy the campus deputy student leader.

" Am sorry , she went to the dormitory after lunch . she did not tell us where she will be going " she says with a humbled tone .

" Okay , I will get away to find her "  Mercy answers and is about to leave when the girl stops her .

' what do you need ' she asks puzzled by her act .

" can you please help me with your WhatsApp number , I will tell you her whereabouts when I get back to the dormitory " she requests with pleading eyes .

She has always looked forward for a way to get her number so that they could be friends , in addition she can put a word and she gets a part time job at Delicious restaurant .

Mercy feels her and gives her contact to her .

This girl never spoke bad about Queen but she felt now that something strange might be cooking because how can the famoues Mercy look for Queen .

Tired of the school atmosphere Mercy decides to go to Delicious restaurant to relax her mind .

Queen changes her dresscode and puts on nice dress for a date , light make up and looks herself in the mirror .

Satisfied with her looks she walks out of the school dormitory. She heads to the gate , before she could pass the gate someone shouts her name .

The voice sounds familiar but she is not sure who will be following her . she immediately stops and looks at the parking direction .He gaze meets a stunning beauty  lady with a broad smile .

She is  a little surprised because its long since she met with Mercy . she remembers the good things she has done for her and she has no other option but to go to her side . 

' I have looking for you , and I was informed that you went to the dorm after lunch ' she continues without giving her a chance to react '  There is something I want to discuss with you , can you please accompany me on my car , am heading to Delicious Restaurant , don't resist please ' 

At the mention of that restaurant Queen is amused because Mr Davian asked her to meet him there . Is Mercy going to meet Mr Davian too . she feels helps at the thought of this .

' Its okay ' She answers and she doesn't tell her that she was heading there too .

'Thanks I will sure treat you to a good meal ' Mercy says smiling at her . They get into the car and Mercy starts the car .

"Queen I hope we can be friends , you such an easy going person with a low key profile , I know your family is not that poor . Your father owns a company and he does not struggle to provide for you . Though little you don't brag and you just treat everyone well " mercy says .

"Why do you say so ?" Queen feels there is something she is not getting right.

' I broke up with my friend today, she is very self-centered and arrogant , I have tried to advise her but I have not achieved anything' she clarified herself .

Queen thought because she met Mr Davian that's why Mercy is befriending her or what is the meaning of this .

"Sister Mercy , there is no problem with that " Queen informs her .

' That's great am happy today ' I will sure buy you the most expensive drink " Mercy snapped .

Soon they  arrive at the Delicious Restaurant , the security direct Mercy to park her car .

They got off and the security bows at them .Queen is stunned by that.

'Is room 15 occupied ', Mercy inquires from the receptionist.

The lady checks on the computer and responds that its not occupied .

"Its okay , follow me" , Mercy  says glancing at Queen who is taken aback by the interior design of the restaurant. No wonder Mr Davian requested to meet her here .

She follows Mercy and they get to the private room .

"Take easy and make yourself comfortable I will be back " Mercy tells her and leaves .

Queen looks at the rooms and remains confused by the beauty of the place .The air is cool . The black leather sofas all looking cosy and soft .

She decides to sit and take some photos then the door flungs open .

Three ladies make their way with trays of food and drinks .

She assumes Mr Davian might have known she arrived here and decided to let them treat her .

Mercy comes back and they start eating .

" These place looks expensive ' Queen says .

"Yes this restaurant belongs to my Dad , I love coming here to kill my boredom " Mercy says without raising her head .

Queen is confused by her confession when she thought it was Mr Davian doing all this it turns out to be this beautiful girl in front of her . She does not reveal her shock and just continues with her meal .

Her phone rings and she decides to answer the call without checking the person calling clearly .

" Am already at Delicious restaurant where are you" a sweet male voice is heard over the phone .

"Wait a minutte " she answers and hungs up .

Then she explains everything to Mercy who looks at her with weird eyes .

"Its okay , just tell him to come over besides he is our platinum member and it will be my pleasure to serve him and get acquitted to him " Mercy says with a sweet smile.

Queen doesn't understand all this words but she decides not to question further .

Then she calls Mr Davian and tells him to come to room 15 .

She feels its getting interesting meeting this two big shots in the business industry and feels if she can connect them to her father , their company might get good profits.
