Luck knocks at her door

When still in her food . The door flung open and handsome young man walked in . The young man emanated a strong charming aura . That the girls dropped their cutlery and looked at him with lustful eyes .

Mercy had never thought that she will ever meet the Young Master of Davian corporation , in such a handsome facial expression . Her mom kept telling her to find a way of getting in touch with him but she had not fantasized any of them .

His gaze focused on Queen and he could not contain the beautiful expression that came from her .She looked very calm and resentful ,He felt like grabbing her and devouring her full force . Buy he had to hold his feelings and maintain a calm posture , this bothered him so much .

The ladies looked at each other in amusement and recalled they had not ushered him a sit .

"Have a sit Mr Davian" 

They said in unison and they were all flabbergasted at their behaviour . what had entered into them could not be explained .

" You look gorgeous today Sir"

They said it again in unison and felt there was something amiss with their reaction . Mr Davian was used to flirtations and being admired by ladies .

He smiled at them and took a sit between the two of them . There was pin drop silence in the room . No one dared to talk until a knock was heard . 

"Come in " Mr Davian had to intervene .

The waiter asked for his order and she went out . The ladies finally felt relived after he seemed normal .

They exchanged pleasantries and  continued eating their meal .

"What is all this joy for . Tell me so that we can celebrate tonight .You have been behaving strangely of late , one time like you are strong  the other time like you are giving up . But with this joy I guess you have a sweet explanation".

Her Friend paused. " You seem to have changed over night , you are an amazing person " 

She concludes her sentiments.

The famous secretary of Mr Davian is all joy after being promoted to the Personal Assistant .

The whole corporation could not figure it out and thought that The President had fallen for his secretary and thus rewarded her with the job . They could not feel happy but envy and jealous kept burning in their hurts .

Her friend listens to her story keenly and congratulates her for the new position and advises her to take care . To perform her job well and satisfy the corporation with her abilities .

They head to A restaurant to celebrate their goodnews .

Later in the evening she decides to pay her family a visit unannounced to inform them of her new position . However she receives a phone call from The President informing her that her first assignment will be to attend the tomorrow's meeting and convince the board of need to proceed with the project.

After hunging up she feels happy but sad . Happy because of her new job and sad because she will have to go back to the office and won't go back to her family .

She had been compiling all the details of the project for the part one week and she was familiar with every detail . All she had to do was to go and finalise on the report and read throughout.

' Nice to meet you Mr Davian ' 

Mercy extends her to greet him.

" It's my pleasure to meet you too Miss Mercy " he replied smiling.

Turning to Queen .

" I have missed you a lot , how have you been " 

" How is that possible its just some hours that we haven't been together and you already miss me" Queen questions his flirting.

They laugh together and continue eating .

His phones rings and he answers it . After a long pause he asks her .

' When are you doing your final examination' 

"In two weeks  time we will be done " she replies without thinking hard on it .

' That's good , I don't have to struggle anymore ' he says .

Queen feels there is something hidden in his smile but she keeps quite. 

Mercy is enjoying the conversation and keeps smiling sheepishly at Mr Davian .

After the meal they decided to have a walk in the restaurant's garden . The place is well decorated with a lot of flowers of all kinds .

The sweet scent meets their nose and they feel warmth in their  hearts . The scene is amazing  and lovely . The tress were producing some buzzing sounds due to the small winds that kept shaking them.

The three of them stroll around talking about many things . Including the trending events , the design clothes  , a few political  issues and they find a calm, cool place to sit . 

From the look of things Mr Davian comes to learn that this two ladies know each other and he is very happy about it .

They walk back to the restaurant feeling refreshed and happy .

The place is incredible .

Queen and Mercy follow him quitely and they head back to the room .

Mercy excuses herself and they are left alone .

They talk for a while and Mr Davian reach to his court and hands her s small rectangular box . she is further told not to open it until she is alone .

" I will not be available for the sometime but please keep in touch " he says with pleading eyes .

He is heading to the neighborhood province for a project supervision and he won't be around to fancy with her . Queen promises him and he feels happy . He draws near and plants a deep French kiss at her cheeks . 

Seeing that she is not resisting , she goes forward and kiss her holding her chin up . Then he hears footsteps approaching . He curses Mercy inwardly as she opens the door .

They chat for a short time and they both stand up to leave . Mercy stops Queen and hands her brown card , you come hear anytime suthe this card .

The card Queen is holding is Glod membership card present from Mercy for accepting her friendship request and coming  over to have dinner with her .

Its because of her that she got to meet Mr Davian and hence she decided to pay back since JTS the least she can do to her newly found friend .

Queen is stunned by the turn of events ,in just one day she had felt like a second generation rich kid .

Mr Davian bids them farewell and drives to his Villa. 

Mercy drives her back to school before heading to her apartment , just opposite the school .

The personal assistant is busy finishing her job . Its late and all the staff have left but she hears a knock at her door , and her heart  skips a beat .
