Turn of events

The school atmosphere felt calm, cool and refreshing the moment Queen stepped in. She could not ascertain what this meant not until she realized that the breeze had turned its direction and it blew across the university.

This feeling caused warmth into her heart and she enjoyed it .

She decided to sit at a nearby bench and relax her mind as she gives thought of the events that have just passed . 

She vividly recalls how Mercy met her and all that she has done to make her happy . She made up her mind that she is worthy being given her trust and loyalty .

Since it was still 9 pm , she continued smiling at the thoughts  that came into her mind . The soft hands of Mr Davian holding her .

She really wanted to be kissed at that moment but the door flung open . However she did not lose hope and believed that there will be next time and all will be fine .

While in her fantasy world her phone rings and its Mercy calling her . She immediately picks it up .

Mercy sounds lonely on the phone and she requests her to go and keep her company .

At first Queen hesitates but finally gives in . she walks over and board a taxi to the apartment .

"Thank you for showing up , I think I have not troubled you " Mercy says while welcoming her .

Mercy Jones has been staying with her friend for the past three years and they kept each other company . But after today's incident , her friend packed all her belongings and left the apartment .

The Jones family has long been giving Mercy the freedom to chose her friends and they have never crossed her path .

When she reached her apartment and found her friend has left . she called her mum and explained the ordeal . without forgetting to mention that Queen made her meet the famous Mr Davian .

Her mum thus encouraged her to make good relationship with Queen so as to try and link the Jones family with Mr Davian .

The Jones family has been looking for a way to enter into business partnership with Mr Davian for the last two years but with no success , because the competition is very high .

Her mum further advised her to convince Queen to stay with her and incase it fails to propose to pay for her half of the rent in the apartment so as to have her back anytime . This really pleases Mercy Jones a lot .

Since all along she has been supporting Queen at school and giving her opportunities during the University's social events , she believed that Queen will not fail her.

'Thank you , this place is nice stay . The neighborhood seems friendly and noise is not an issue , it presents a calm place for studies' Queen gave her compliment.

Mercy did not expect her to give such remarks because she felt she will have to convince her that this place is good and she should consider staying here and giving her company .

"Hello, how are you ?" 

"Am fine thank you, how can u help you " Mr Davian answers the young man after lowering his Car's window .

He decided to drive himself to Delicious restaurant earlier to meet Queen because he did not want to feel bothered by his driver. And wanted to have all his time with his crush .

Its  rare for anyone to stop him on the way and he is just feeling disturbed by this young man . However he does not show his frustration but trys to force a smile .

"I have lost my phone , I request you to assist me with yours si that I can call my driver and inform him my whereabouts" he responds with a genuine face .

Mr Davian dials the number and speaks to the driver who promises to come . He turns to the Young man and tells him that he is coming .

Mr Davian sends a text message to his Information Technology expert at his company to investigate that number and he drives off .

' I was thinking of telling you to come and reside here , but since you already like the place. What about you come and stay with me ' Mercy decides to make it clear .

' I have no problem with that at the moment , we need atleast some privacy since am sure you are not single and your boyfriend may come over ' Queen states her fears. 

" Yea you are right , am willing to pay a half of your rent so that you become my neighbor next door." mercy respond .

" You don't have to trouble yourself that much , I will just check my savings and call my dad to chip in and it will be enough " Queen clears the air with her statement .

"I don't mean that you can't afford it but please just take it as a token of appreciation " Mercy trys to convince her .

" A token of appreciation for what ? " I don't understand you dear . 

" I know you don't understand now but please just accept . am very much appreciative for making me meet Mr Davian . " Mercy decides there is no need to beat around the bush .

Queen's mind analyzes the situation and accepts the offer . she  needed to keep along with Mercy Jones so that her Dad may get tenders to supply commodities to their restaurants and as well  their bars . 

So she accepts wholeheartedly because both of them will benefit .

This symbiotic friendship tends to take root very fast than she had accepted . With his dad's interests at heart she is willing to do anything to improve their family financial status .

She has lived to imagine a way that will move them to the next level of rich people in the society but she never expected it to be this .

So they made all the arrangements and at 11 pm , she had already moved to the apartment .

Her friends were all shocked to hear it and they were sad , though they envied her friendship with Mercy and Mr Davian . They wrer trying their best to catch the attention of Mr Davian in Facebook but with no success .

In addition with the loss of their friend to Mercy Jones it means they may not enjoy the outings and favorite dishes that Mr Davian may buy Queen .

They felt that they have lost a good friend and cried when she left . 

Queen has a Gold Card membership which has  30 percent discount at the Three restaurants and bars . she has moved from the dormitory to the apartment and Mr Davian had promised to get her a job once the pass out exams are over and the projects collected .

In less than three days her life has changed and she feels relived of some burdens .

"Why are you here?" 

Mr Davian's personal assistant questions her boyfriend .

"Am I not welcomed here" he blurts out .

"This is my office and you understand the rules " she says staring at him .

" what keeps you in the office until now " he asks with furious tone .

"Its none of your business , besides am working here , so why are you so concerned ?" She answers him .

Her boyfriend feels irritated , because he has been texting her but he received no reply . He inquired from her best friend and he decided to come and confirm for himself . He feels there is something odd but he finds her alone .

"You have to explain to me why you have not replied my texts " he sneers approaching her .

Suddenly they here a sound of roaring engine approaching the basement .
