More tears spilled out of Alex's eyes. He finally sobbed loudly and stormed inside the school building. Getting up, Vera glared at those boys who had been acting like her son's bodyguards.

"Stay away from Alex! If I catch you with Alex again, you’ll be the one in trouble next." They looked down in fright.

The principal was standing in a corner, his face flushed and eyes wavering with fear. Vera approached him.

"What's happening in the school, Principal Sir? Little kids are turning into bullies and you're doing nothing. Why was it not reported to me when my son's been harassing other kids." She snarled.

"Can we talk in my office, Luna?"

Vera nodded and followed him to his office, not before giving Alex's class teacher a last glare.

"Yes, Principal Sir?" Vera raised an eyebrow demandingly as soon as they came into his office. "If you can't do your duties then tell me. I don't mind hiring someone more responsible in your place."

The Principal asked for permission to sit in his ch

  • Their Regret: I'm Not Your Luna Anymore    Chapter 82

82Vera's POV "These emails... Are they even real?" I barked as I opened another one. Girls as young as ten years of age had sent mail, asking for help from either their psycho grandfather or their mother's pervert new boyfriend. I was furiously opening one mail after another when Bronze came to stand next to me while rubbing his neck. "They're all authentic. Why do you think I went out of the way to hunt you down, Luna? Some sent multiple mails to get the Rogue Huntress's reaction. There is an awful population of girls and even boys in dire need of rescue, Luna." He said. My eyes were teary after reading another mail. It was sent by Luna's stepsister. Her stepsister's Alpha husband was assaulting her, and no one was doing anything to get her out of there. She was locked up in a room and the Alpha came and left whenever he wanted. What's worse... All these mails came mostly from the packs falling under my father's territory. 'I guess because the Rogue Huntress is present withi

81Vera's POV "Hello, Luna Vera." Bronze came and stood in front of me as he dipped his head in a respectful acknowledgement. Needles dug under the surface of my skin. I had a feeling to want to walk past him and not look back, but I resisted. My anxiety was coming from the fact that he came from a pack whose Alpha had tried to capture me and force-make me his Luna. "What are you doing here?" I raised my chin high and gave him a look of disappointment. I wanted him to know how much his visit aggravated me. "I came to pay a visit. I'll close the door if you don't mind." He said calmly as he came inside the room and shut the door. My first thought was to throw him against the wall before walking out. But again, I discarded the idea and folded my arms across my chest challengingly. "How did you find out I'm here?" I asked."I'm one of the members of the Board of Motel Owners Association, Luna. A little bit of your description and obviously your name... And I knew where to find you.

80Vera's wolf twisted around in Fred's arm and tossed him over her shoulder in a judo move before slamming him down on the floor, making the tiles crack."Stay in your limits, little boy. I'm being nice with you doesn't mean you will cross your limits." She flipped him on his belly and twisted his hand behind his back. He screamed in pain and the doors of the room that were occupied swung open. People looked curiously at the scene as Vera refused to let go. "And what did you say about being grateful that you're willing to want me?" She snickered. "Boy, I'll chop your dick off and stuff it up your äss if you speak to me like that ever again. Or with any other girl!" "What do you think, huh... That woman should be glad if asshóles like you want to fill them up with your cúm?" Vera twisted his arm at a painful angle and an anguish cry tore from his throat. He begged for her forgiveness but Vera didn't let go. It wasn't until the owner of the Motel arrived himself. Vera wouldn't have

79She got some suggestions regarding places she should see. The grumpy grandpa told her about a pond with a waterfall behind the village. He winked at her and suggested she take a naked dip.Vera did just that besides exploring the farms the elders built for growing crops. They were using old methods and she noted it away so she could give them some tips from her experience before leaving. Not that she was leaving any time soon. When night crept in, Vera got an invitation from the elders to join them over dinner. It turned out they ate together on a huge table that they set for group eating every day at night. It was a compulsory tradition between them. This kept their bond strong and they felt like a family.Vera felt like home away from home. They had set out a feast for her. A grandma caught fish and roasted them on fire. Then a grandpa baked muffins in his home. Baking was his hobby he hadn't been able to practise when he was alpha. But now after retirement he was living his hobb

78Vera came out of her motel room to enjoy the view of mountains covered in lush greens and the sound of chirping birds. Cool air brushed her face as she inhaled the scent of her coffee before taking a sip. "I always wanted to visit here, Verity. The Blueridge Village." Vera closed her eyes as the fingers of the breeze touched her face gently. 'This was on your to-do list when we were in highschool, I remember. But dad didn't allow you to travel this far and to say you wanted to have a solo adventure.' Verity saw the heart soothing view of nature across from them through Vera's eyes. Last night when Vera changed her route from Yellow Shadow Pack, she didn't know where she was going. Although a part of her provoked her to end her life, Vera knew it wasn't the right way to end her miseries. She was being tested in a sensitive place. It didn't mean she should end her life. Rather, she told herself that it was a twisted way of life to teach her something, though it was still unbeknow

77The same night,Rhayghar sipped angrily from his glass as his eyes stared aimlessly in the air. Johnny was sitting next to him. He saw the scowl darkening on Rhayghar's face and sat back in his chair to observe him closely and quietly. The girl Rhayghar liked left him again. She slipped out of her Motel room this morning— pretty much like last time— while he was still asleep. Again. When Rhayghar got up, he found everything gone. Her purse, clothes and whatever little stuff she had on her.It wasn't the outcome he expected after the night he had with her. That's why he asked about her at the reception of the motel. He had hoped that he would get her information, unfortunately they refused to share anything as per their policies."Dude, are you going to sulk all your life?" Johnny finally broke the silence between them. They were sitting in the entertainment room of their hotel. A sexy blonde was doing a chair dance on the stage as a slow and sensuous song played in the background.
