LOGINInaayat looked at Ryker. Then her lips stretched into a huge, delighted smile. "Ji..." Ryker still hadn't moved. She suddenly gathered a little of her skirt and twirled in front of him. The gown spread around her in a magnificent circle, glittering under the lights. She stopped and looked at him expectantly. "Kaise lag rahe hain hum?" She asked. (Translation: How am I looking?) Ryker's expression softened. He opened his mouth. Nothing came out. "Kya hua ji?" Inaayat blinked. (Translation: What happened?) "Ethereal." He exhaled quietly and walked toward her. She smiled wider. Ryker almost smiled. He reached for her hand and lifted it gently. "I don't think there's a word that would actually do justice to how you look." He said awestruck. Inaayat's cheeks immediately became pink. Ryker lowered his head and pressed a gentle kiss against the back of her hand. Then he straightened and placed another soft kiss against her forehead. "Very beautiful, my love." She lowered her eye
Then something suddenly clicked in her mind. She looked up at him suspiciously. "Uske baad surprise hai?" She asked. (Translation: Is there a surprise after that?) "Shayad." Ryker's lips twitched. (Translation: Perhaps.) "Phir chaliye!" Her entire expression transformed. (Translation: Then let's go!) She caught his hand before he could even say anything and practically pulled him toward the entrance. Ryker followed with a quiet chuckle. Inside, everything was even more luxurious. The soft lighting reflected off the polished floors, subtle music played somewhere in the background, and the entire place smelled faintly of flowers and expensive creams. Two of Ryker's guards were already standing near the reception. Inaayat immediately recognized them. They straightened when Ryker entered. "Sir." They both said unison. "You can leave." Ryker gave them a brief nod. Both men nodded and walked away without another question. Inaayat looked after them for a second before t
"Bacche..." Then he gently tapped her cheek. Nothing. (Translation: Kiddo...) "Bacche." He tapped again. (Translation: Kiddo.) She made a small protesting sound and turned her face away. "Uthiye." Ryker smiled. (Translation: Wake up.) She twisted slightly, pulled his hand closer to herself and went straight back to sleep. He stared at her. Another gentle tap. "Bacche, uth jaiye." He again tried. (Translation: Kiddo, wake up.) "Mm..." She frowned in her sleep. "Come on." He said gently. She turned toward him again, buried her face against his chest and mumbled something completely incomprehensible. "You're impossible." Ryker's lips twitched. "Bacche..." He tried once more. (Translation: Kiddo...) This time, Inaayat slowly opened one eye. She blinked. Then the other eye opened. She stared at him with sleepy confusion. "Kya hua ji...?" She asked. (Translation: What happened...?) "Uth jaiye." He said. (Translation: Wake up.) "Abhi?" She blinked several more times. (
He caught her wrist gently before she could escape, and she dissolved into another fit of laughter. He started tickling her and she started rolling over getting all of the grass into her hair making him chuckle too. "Aanhhhh...mat kijiye na gudgudi." She whined feeling ticklish. (Translation: Aanhhhh... don't tickle me.) "Delete karengi aap photos?" He asked. (Translation: Will you delete the photos?) "Kabhi nahi!" She yelled and he again started tickling her. (Translation: Never!) "Mat kariye ji. Hass hass ke hamare pet mein dard hone laga." She complained between her laughs. (Translation: Please don't! My stomach started hurting from laughing so much.) "Chaliye theek hai. Jaane diya aap ko." He said. (Translation: Alright then. I'll let you go.) Then he helped her in sitting straight and removed all the grass from her hair but she wasn't done. "Aap ne kuchh nahi jaane diya. Wo to aap humse jeet nahi paaye." She said grinning at him and stuck her tongue out at him. (Tra
The horse continued walking calmly. Inaayat giggled. She looked completely enchanted. The nervousness slowly disappeared, replaced by pure delight. The gentle rhythm of the horse's steps carried them along the mountain trail. Ryker rode beside her, keeping his horse close enough that he could reach her if she needed him. Inaayat kept looking at everything around her. The mountains. The green slopes. The cloudy sky. The winding trail. The horses beneath them. Every few moments, she'd laugh softly when the horse took a slightly bigger step. And every time, Ryker would glance at her with a quiet smile. She was touching the horse's mane now, careful and affectionate. "Ye kitna soft hai." She said to him. Ryker watched her hand move gently through its mane. (Translation: He's soft.) "Aap ko accha lag raha hai?" He asked. (Translation: Are you enjoying it?) "Bahut. Bahut accha lag raha hai hamein ji." Inaayat nodded enthusiastically. (Translation: It feels really, really good.) "Ha
Her excitement was more beautiful than anything outside. He took her over several different landscapes, letting her see mountains, valleys, rivers and vast stretches of land from above. Inaayat never stopped looking. Eventually, she turned toward him with an enormous smile. "Ji..." She said looking at her. "Hmm?" He hummed softly. "Hamein bahut accha lag raha hai." She said with a grin. (Translation: I'm feeling very good.) "Good." Ryker smiled. She stared at him for a second. Then, without thinking, leaned over and pressed a quick kiss against his cheek. Ryker froze. Completely. His face turned red almost instantly. For one dangerous second, his attention slipped. The helicopter tilted slightly. "Ye kya ho raha hai ji!" Inaayat's eyes widened. (Translation: What is going on!) Ryker immediately corrected it. The aircraft stabilized again. He cleared his throat. "Relax." He looked at her. "Sab theek hai. Hum safe hain." Inaayat nodded slowly. Then she looked at his face.
