"Acchi jagah? Wo hame kyun nahi le gaye acchi jagah? Hum kab jayenge iss duniya se hame bhi uske paas jaana hai." She asked wiping her tears immediately after hearing that her Bhanu will be sad if she'll cry. She sniffed and tried to control herself.

(Translation: A good place? Why didn't he take me to a good place? When will I leave this world? I also want to go to him.)

"Wo aap ko nahi le jaa sakte the. Wahan par koi apni marzi se nahi jaata. Sab wahan bhagwaan ki marzi se jaate hain." He said recalling Arjun telling this to Nancy once when she lost one of her friends.

(Translation: He could not take you. No one goes there on their own will. Everyone goes there by God's will.)

He didn't believe in god but to make her understand about the things he told her that everything happens with the permission of God.

"Bhagwan? Wahi jinki dadi roz subah pooja karti hain?" She questioned again with a frown on her face.

(Translation: God? The one whom Dadi worships every morning?)

  • Their Unsparing Destiny    Chapter 80

A knock broke the silence and the chain of his thoughts. He turned around and saw Doctor Sanyal standing at the door step. "Come inside, please." Arjun said quickly. The doctor rushed to Nancy's side. "What happened?" The doctor patiently asked at Nancy's injured form. "She was... pushed. Hard. Her head hit the wall, maybe the floor. And her arm- check her arm." Arjun muttered nervously not knowing how to explain the doctor, her whole situation and remembered how painfully her arm was twisted. "Is this the case of domestic violence?" The doctor asked beforehand because it looked like one. "No... No... No... I can't even think of it. It's just something personal, I can't explain." Arjun said not knowing how to justify whatever the doctor was seeing in front of him. "Mr. Thakur it's against my policy to treat a patient like this but I'm doing this just because you are a reputable and influential man of the city." The doctor said adjusting his glasses. "Trust me doctor

  • Their Unsparing Destiny    Chapter 79

He saw she had fallen asleep, maybe due to being so tired, as well as mentally exhausted. Some strands of her soft, messy hair fell on her rosy cheeks while her lips formed a pout due to her cheek being pressed on his arm. She looked so fragile, so gentle, so innocent that he wanted to hide her in his arms. Gently and carefully he tucked his arm under her knees and by the other one he grabbed her shoulders gently. He was careful, not wanting to disturb her sleep. He picked her small and lightweight form in his arms, settling her gently on his lap. She immediately curled against his chest like a small kitten after feeling his body warmth. Ryker fought so hard with his urge to smile but failed when she closed her fist against his chest, with his shirt clenched in her palm as if trying to claim him, as hers. If he wanted, he could have let her sleep in her seat only but something in him couldn't resist, keeping her closer to him. He smiled looking at her small form in his lap and s

He saw her whole attention was on his hand and not on him which he didn't like. He wanted her to look into his eyes and not on his hands. He intentionally took his hand back from her hold, which made her narrowed eyes to trail toward him. As soon as she looked into his eyes she realised what she did and immediately looked back at his hand. It looked so painful, so deep that it made the tiny strands of hair on her nape to stand up in anticipation. The car interior was dim, the over head light casting a soft glow on Ryker's face- sharp angles, shadowed eyes, and a jaw that still carried remnants of fury. Inaayat sat beside him, her heart beating so loudly she felt it echoed in her throat. But she didn't look away. She couldn't. Not when his bloodied hand rested so still on his thigh, the dried blood cracking along his knuckles. It looked painful. Angry. Violent. Still dangerous. Yet she reached for it. "A-Aap ne wapis kyun liya? Hum dekh rahe the naa aap ka haath." She mumbled sl

She placed her hand in his not having enough options. She retreated not because she trusted his command but because the sound of it had named a new, darker geography to her life- one where safety and terror sat on the same throne. She shivered at the look of his bloodied knuckles clasped around her small dainty hand, his hold gentle. Then he walked her out of the room. His stride was large; hers was small. But he slowed down for her, his feet moving slowly to match her space. He kept her close. As if she were something fragile, breakable. As if he was terrified someone else would take her away if he loosened his grip even a little. "LET ME GO!!! YOU WILL REGRET PUTTING YOUR HANDS ON ME!!!" Abhinendra yelled out in pain, gaining his consciousness after a long time. All this while he didn't get to say a word due to Ryker's fast moves and actions. Ryker who walked like a king with his queen ignored his presence completely. The servants saw the scene with big, wide eyes as their ma

Abhinendra turned around after hearing that icy voice with his usual arrogance reeking from him. Abhinendra's smile died before his lips did. Ryker didn't walk. He moved like something that had been trapped too long and finally snapped its chains. The light from the chandelier caught his face- not the cold, composed face everyone knew, but something darker animal and precise. Ryker stormed in, his presence thick and suffocating. His jaw tight, his hands curled into fists that already dripped with blood from earlier. He didn't waste his words anymore. He crossed the distance in three strides and seized Abhinendra by the collar. He slammed Abhinendra against the wall so hard that the man's head cracked against it, the wine glass shattering between them. The wine room smelled of spilled liquor and old arrogance, gone now. Abhinendra tried to get up, with pain shooting everywhere in his body, when he couldn't, he limped away from Ryker's shaking body with rage. Ryker closed the spac

After the storm of anger which Ryker took out on Nancy he walked out of the room with Inaayat beside him. His bloodied hand was holding on her dainty small one which was trembling due to fear. He couldn't believe how the dynamics were changed, a while ago he was assuring her that he won't let anyone hurt her and she is the queen who doesn't have to do any household chores and now he was holding her hand in his practically dragging her with him. While she was beside him- trembling, scared and shocked. Her hand trembled in his hold and he could feel every bit of it. Her body was shaking even if it wasn't touching with his but he knew it very clearly. He felt so angry, so much rage boiling inside his body and he just wanted to let it off. He wasn't angry with Nancy anymore, he wasn't thinking about Abhinendra at that moment, he wasn't angry with anyone but himself. He was so angry with himself because he promised himself to protect her but he was the one who scared her with his an
